It goes into a lot of psychological thinking and can be very mind-numbing. You will definitely like characters like Rei, Asuka (other 'children' who can pilot Eva), Misato (guardian of Shinji and Asuka) and may come to hate others like Shinji's father and sympathize with Shinji over the course of the story.
For me it was mind boggling experience watching it. My advice is go for them only if u don't despise Mecha stuffs because it contains hell lot of them.

I Love mecha * Gundam wing* but should i watch the series or the movie ?

I love Gundam wing too.. I remember watching neon genesis evangelion when I was at about 8 or 9 years old and now I forgot about the flow of the story. I should rewatch it soon..

Since the movies are in form of tetralogy of which only 2 have been made so far, i think u should go for the series first and then movies (that way u will appreciate the deviation of plot in movies)

Hey guys it is not like i hated Lelouch or something, it is just that his actions really irritated me after he defeated Britannia although they were later justified when he was assassinated by Suzaku. But those last moments were just epic and too emotional.

@ shanky o ok i got easter vacation so i can add to my series i'm gonna watch =P

@ everyone i hope the new code geass don't mess the series up i be sad =( and death note i think they should continue with a new characters and make them more of a badass ^.^
