If thats the case then that means the anime is a complete work of art (case in point Hourou Musuko) |

I believe it can...by lots of different ways that depends on the situation! but in the other hand it can End pepls lives... like when some kids try to copy anime characters... or even adults if they over-got into it !!! |

Anime isn't exactly music but, I guess given the right circumstances and the right person, the right anime at the right time could save someones life. > The Fellow MAL Users Social Link has reached level 6! > Your power to create Forum Posts of the Anime Arcana has grown! |

I guess it really depends on your point of view. In the right situation and circumstances, you could say that anything saves lives. The creation of the medium does not save lives. While you can nitpick and split hairs over it and twist it so that you could say that anime saves lives, but it does not directly save lives. Medicine saves lives. Doctors save lives. Safety devices like seatbelts and kevlar armor saves lives. |

I think it depends on how it affects you. There are some anime that promotes violence, indecency, stupidity and many bad influences as well as good ones like friendship, trust and optimism. To others it's a form of entertainment, an escape from reality (like drugs). somehow it help others to cope up with loneliness but the irony sometimes it brings others to isolation. Not unless there's anime out there that teaches first aid or cpr. then your statement about it saving lives is plausible. |

Yes. Most animes have good morals. And can tell us great things. <img src="http://i42.tinypic.com/n3t6b7.png" /> |

I do not believe it can save lives. That's like saying watching the Office can save lives. Can it influence someone then yes on that. |

Yes. Any form of medium which can affect one's psychological state can change the events of their life, be it positive or negative. ![]() |

Anime does not save lives. People save lives. Anime may influence people. That influence can be life-changing. But in the end, people save people. Anime is a muse, people are artist. |

In the end anything can save a life, but at the same time it can take or waste it. Same goes for medicine. It may save you but at the same time it can kill you. http://shintai88.deviantart.com/ Just some of my artwork (Total Noob Btw) |
