They are borrowing the name mostly, and it seems to share the same style, but that's about it.Kind of strange to suddenly announce a new 'season' of Last Exile. Despite some of the issues with it's ending, it certainly did not need a sequel.  |

Oh god, yes. I'd watch anything related to Last Exile any time. Murata Range's characters are always adorable.  |

I am way happy to hear about this! :D Last Exile is one of my FAVORITE series. <3 Knowing there's another season/series/somewhat-similar-anime-but-not-completely-the-same coming out, I gotta go watch Last Exile yet again. xD To freshen up my motivation to watch Ginyoku no Fam. *-* HAPPY MARIA!  |

First ep was a lot of fun so hopefully the rest will continue to be as good. I just wish they would start using a room for premieres where you can actually see the subtitles instead of the back of people's heads. Omae wa mo shindeiru. |

It was actually really good! It was a bit confusing but the creators cleared up a bit of that confusion with out saying too much. There was one character already from the first series and references to another, so its not a totally different story. |
