I personally find the japanese language to be the most beautiful and awesome. Some words sound really nice, espiecially female names.

I'm wondering if people know any cool sounding words that aren't names.

Example:
Shinri
Hitori
Gin

'Sundome' sounds like a nice word to me. There's also an entire guide to it's meaning under the same title, I advice reading it.
I always do.

Oh, and 'chinpo'. Cutest word ever.

We're obviously forgetting the extremely complex 'yatta'.

It's at least a Tier 5 Weaaboo Word.

weeaboo isn't a Japanese word. It's English slang(meaning someone who is an obnoxious fan of Japanese culture). The word itself does sound pretty damn cool.
Nice job bumping an old thread to completely miss the point.

Here are some of my personal favorites:

ふざけんなよ - fuzakennayo - It's about equivalent to "fuck off"
ファファ - fuafua - soft
もふもふ - mofumofu - fluffy
しばくぞ - shibakuzo - It's about equivalent to "I'm going to kick you ass"
食い逃げ - running away without paying for your food
まじ - maji - seriously
嘘でそう - Kind of like "That's a lie isn't it?"
親切な変態 - shinsetsu na hentai - "kind pervert"
私のホバークラフトは鰻でいっぱいです - "My hovercraft is full of eels"
私の乳首は喜びで爆発する - "My nipples explode with delight"

These two are kind of hard to explain so look them up if you don't know and are interested:
てへぺろ - tehepero
なんでやでん - nandeyanen

Most of them also have inside jokes and such with my Japanese friends, so they are funnier to me as well. Teaching them English as they teach me Japanese makes for some quite amusing stuff.
