Am I the only one who thinks it sounds different from season one?

Actually, there were a lot of comments on it back during her appearance in the fragments arc. I haven't noticed a difference myself, but I haven't played them back to back either.

Anyway, just check out the episode 6 discussion. There's tons of people in there who have noticed a difference.

Edit: actually just reread the thread, and an inordinate number of the people were you . I guess you just kept repeating the question throughout. There were two other people that agreed with you though. So you're still not the only one... just one of three.

Just watch a clip from season one, the voices are different. The VA is at the age of growing up, maybe that's why her voice changed?
