According to Sankei Newspaper, Wakayama Prefectural Police arrested the culprits of the November 17th 2010 robbery of the old building of Toyosato Elementary School, the model school of K-ON!. The 17 and 18 year-old boys were arrested for stealing figures, guitars and cash boxes. The investigators said the two boys broke into the exhibition room of K-ON! goods at 1:30 am on November 17th 2010 and stole twenty character figures, three guitars, and two portable safes. The two boys confessed that they liked K-ON! and wanted the character figures. The 18 year old boy had been previously arrested for an unrelated theft in December and the police found the stolen figures when they searched his house. The two boys are considered to be gangsters of a group of burglars, who have been robbing offices in Wakayama prefecture. Source: Sankei Related topic: Fans donated K-ON! It's the same robbery, but the culprits from the original theft (in linked topic) were finally caught and prosecuted. They had already recovered most of the stolen goods in a field nearby according to the previous topic. |

I can't decide which is more amazing: that there is a school devoted to K-On goods or that we have young adults robbing said school. |

And they said K-ON was innocent, look at what it is doing to the youth in Japan! If you take anime seriously, you're autistic. |

Lolwut? While people are busy debating about ecchi and hentai anime having bad influence on youths, here we have youths badly influenced by K-On. |

kalamity said: I can't decide which is more amazing: that there is a school devoted to K-On goods or that we have young adults robbing said school. Um, I think that it's just that the school used as a model for the K-On school was given some K-On memorabilia as a gift, which was then stolen. They're not devoted to K-On goods, they just happened to be chosen as a reference model and got stuff because of that. |

Well at least they took a safe and guitars. But wow, when I hear gangsters I usually think mafia, mobsters, or the lesser evil, gangs, not K-ON! enthusiast. Bored and looking for something to read? Drop by The Ward where you come to get your boredom cured. |
