| I saw this coming, since I've already seen other shows do it, but never has it been done that well. The bigger joke for me though was the preview - unless it was a fake preview, they'll really animate Baka's stupid Color Ranger idea. Priceless. |

| I was kind of lonely when I thought that the prince was not the main character anymore, but the story was kind of interesting so I watched it.. but at the end of the episode, they were still there :D great episode again :D.. Color Rangers next time :D |

| It's just the 4th episode and Baka's trolls are already at Izaya level. He has the talent in his blood, definitely. Now I'm starting to wonder if the Durarara! special was as random as it seemed to be. There must have been some kind of sign that my eyes weren't ready to see! *dies from alien overdose* Anyway, the show is amazing, no doubt about that. |

| The art change kinda gave it away but it was still a good episode because at some point I stopped waiting for the joke and just wanted to see what was gonna happen. Awesomely meta. The script is pure genius, the way it can bounce between serious and silly funny in a second. If this was most other anime it'd be just a dumb filler episode. Now, this series managed to deliver an interesting premise, mood and characters in less than a standard episode. Best damn series, hands down. |

| Before this episode I thought this show was mildly funny with an interesting premise. This week's episode impressed me with it's depictions of aliens. At the start of the episode, we were led to believe that the aliens were just cold, heartless killers of humans. This is also a theme that was in episode 2 I believe where Baka saves a girl from aliens that were assaulting here. But later, we are shown the aliens had a human-like motivation for this that is based on feelings not so different from our own. I see that this show has more depth and range of emotion than I previously thought because it was labeled a comedy. It can take deep issues and take them seriously when it needs to. It will be interesting to see if this was just a one-off, or if the show will continue to mix dramatic elements in the future. |

I did hope it wouldn't be a troll during the whole thing but then when it was revealed, it strangely didn't bother me at all. This show really continues to amaze me on so many levels. The same. It was an awesome little story that i quite enjoyed. The troll at the end was expected by this point but i didn't care. This show is really aiming for the top spot this season. |
| Not sure how to rank this episode. I loved it but the ending killed it and I didn't think the joke was funny enough to justify it. Oh well still a great show, it's the type I could show to someone who isn't into anime to try to get them into it. |
| I honestly don't feel that the ending killed it. I still feel that its a fairly well-done story within a story kind of thing, and to be honest even when I was reading the manga for the first time I kind of expected that some twist like that might happen. I tend to judge that one-shot story on its own terms before the reveal that it was just a story written by Prince Baka, and in that regard its really well-done. The joke itself that it was just written by Prince Baka may have not been very funny for some, but even then I just view it as a not so well-done joke, that doesn't really affect my opinion of the rest of the episode, because I still think the story itself was well-constructed and well executed. |
