| Also fans are really quite observant... This picture specifically. The OP in episode 3 had red streaks, while in episode 5 it has blue streaks. I'm not sure it is significant, but there it is. More things I have found starting from that observation. Episodes 1-4 have red streaks like in the picture. Episode 5 has blue streaks. During the transformation scene in episode 1, Madoka is in the yellowish place with clouds where a heart shape cloud is covering her vagina. In the second episode's transformation scene, it's still the same yellow cloud filled place, but there isn't a cloud blocking anymore. In episodes 3-5 the transformation scene takes place in a different location, a cyberspace like area with runes floating around. |

The original theory behind that was the magic-giving Madoka is from the same future time-line that Homura is from (ie the one Madoka dreamed about in ep 1). Not sure if the theory has changed, but I'm sure the relevance will make itself known when she actually becomes a mahou shoujo. |

| It ends just as Madoka makes the contract, in the middle of a major battle, just when Homura and Sayaka are in serious danger so that then they will definitely make a second series in which Madoka actually does some fighting. It's certainly starting to look that way. Never before has a future magical girl taken so long to accept a contract. |
