Well I just read the end of Shin Angyo Onshi and to be honest, I don't really know what to think about it. It's nice that Sando realised that Aji Tae has just been deceiving her and in the end Aji Tae died, but I somehow would have liked to know what happens afterwards to some of the characters. I mean it is pretty clear that Munsu will die shortly after the end of the fight, but I would have really liked to know, what, for example, Sando will do after the fight, since fighting and serving someone seems to be the reason for her existence. I would have also liked to know what happens to the country after Aji Tae is dead, since, also in a rather cruel way, he maintained order and it wouldn't be too surprising if the whole country would fall into chaos. It ended exactly the way I thought it would, the last page I mean, so I really wasted disappointed. Unanswered questions, unfortunately, are a staple in great stories. |

I think the ending is good enough. Some mysteries should be still secrets. |

@Kuroe_Kurose - Are you serious?! Because that pisses me off that a group can just release something unfinished (-_-)! |

Thanks for that caboose_ftw, at least I got some closure but it's still pretty sad that it had to end. Would love to see that epic battle animated someday. ^_^ |

IDK about that...i mean, the Shin Angyo Onshi movie sucked...IMO It's too bad, because second half of the manga is at least 9 times better than the first half... |

That's certainly true, because the 1st half of the manga lacked a storyline and it only gained a storyline during the Hwalbidang arc (don't know if that's spelt right). |

I'm Korean, and i can't even spell anything korean. It was Munsu's past as the invincible General in the country of Jushin, captivated me until the end. Sando spin-off series PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Nice, at least these 10 last pages give me a feeling of closure :> "Truth is always a delusion." - Friedrich Dürrenmatt |

Just finished reading [the ETC scanlations]. Really great story. Makes me sad The General died even though it was clear he was going to before the battles. caboose_ftw said: Sando spin-off series PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES PLZ!! lol |

Damn. Underwhelming ending. I can take unresolved mysteries, but I disliked the sudden simplification of everything, and the too fast development. Aji Tae became less of a mystery and more of a paper cutout villain in the last two arcs. Munsu became flatter. Characters that needed development and focus didn't get any. Still, everything up to the second half of the mandrake dream arc stands as something of the finest I've read in graphical storytelling. Up there with Fullmetal Alchemist and Watchmen, yes indeed. How is the world ruled and how do wars start? Yeah.. i felt the last volume or two was rushed, and i thought it deserved at least another 2-3 volumes to really flesh out the characters.. i mean, they all just died within 1 volume, and there wasn't as much emotional weight to their deaths(especially for Aji Tae and his crew, who became your average cliche villians by the end) as i'd hoped(ie more flashbacks for each character as they are dying heh heh). Very disappointing, but i guess one can't have everything, and since everything else was of the highest quality, i'll still give this a 9.5. One of the classics easily |

Too many things happened at the same time in the end, suddenly they were there against Aji Tae's undead army, suddenly people dropped dead left and right, and everything was over just like that. Also, in the beginning I really liked Tae as a villain, much because of him reminding me of Bererk's Griffith, but summoning an undead army kind of reverted him back to the standard fare villain. Still, a fitting ending, if a bit rushed. ![]() Fordelen med å ha oljevarmeovn fra europris er å våkne opp og ikke ta hvert øyeblikk som en selvfølge. |

I was a bit disappointed with the ending. It just kind of stopped... which, after waiting a long tme for the last chapters, was harsh. I was expecting something really grand to take place, but it all just came to a halt. Caboose: Thank you very much for posting those. That definitely added a bit to the ending of the series. |

Ugh.. serious... worst ending ever. It's just that they just KILLED all of the characters at once, not even like.. one by one.. all the characters die in one chapter/volume.. I aftree with eimajtl.. there is NO storyline in the end, it just STOPS. storyline was also unnecessarily confusing, like most MANHWAS where they just put in everything that looks/sounds cool, never thinking ahead. |
