| I was really confused in the beginning 'cause I saw that scene form further the manga, but then realized it was just a preview... In fact this first episode is just as I expected it to be based from the manga... absolutely awesome! Signs, Green |

| His running reminds me of Forrest Gump. I like it so far but Hiruma's voice isn't what I imagined it to be, or well I'll get use to it. |
| I don't like it so far, but I'll watch another three episodes before I decide if it's for me or not. I do like the two football players, but the style and tone of the series doesn't appeal to me yet, which sucks because I love movies and shows about football. I'll give it another chance with the next episode. :) |

| Some of the character designs are very weird, and that was distracting...but overall I quite enjoyed the episode. I'll watch a few more before deciding if I want to continue. |

| have vol1 of eyeshield21 for long ago, but never started the anime, coincidentally, my friend read my volume, and got hooked, i planned watching this after finishing hajime no ippo, but oh well. loved the additional scenes between now and then. sena is like i imagined him. kurita been done well. mamori is much more cuter in the manga, but still looks good. my problem is hiruma, i feel as seeing softy version of him, in the manga he's much more badass. as for art/overall, i feel as the manga were much more badass, while the anime is more childish like, still gonna watch it all since i don't have any other manga volume :/ oh and yeah, i enjoyed it overall, just in term of adaption it's little disappointment. |
