| I think episode 14 showed their is no comparison between Maaya and Megumi, Maaya is leagues better... and yes she's been around for a long time but even comparing her work in Escaflowne to Megumi's Ranka here it's the same. |

| I agree with hirahira, (lol reviving old topics ftw, just marathoned 1-20) but out of Ranka and Sheryl, I voted Sheryl probably cause she sang more songs that I like than Ranka did, not that I think she's bad or anything. Might also be the thing that I like Sheryl as character better than Ranka xD But wow, a lot of "young" people are debuting lately o.o; |

| I personally prefer Sheyl's songs over Rankas's. Diamond Crevasse and Infinity easily put Sheryl over the top. though I did like Ranka's version of Watashi no Kare wa Pilot and Ai Oboite Imasuka. just for the record since the comparison between Megumi and Maaya was brought up. Maaya >>>>> Megumi. Megumi's voice is soothing to listen to while Maaya's voice is comparable to the sensation of earsex. |

| I guess Sheryl is better as a character (but I like them both!) but I still think Ranka's voice is better. I especially like it in What Bout My Star and Aimo. And I never said Megumi's voice was better than Maaya's :P I would never say something like that. I <333 Maaya |

| I like both girls but Ranka's singing voice is more soothing. Sheryl's singing voice is kind of annoying. especially in Northern Cross. Ranka has a more annoying talking voice though |
| I love both of their voices, but overall I'd have to choose Sheryl. She seems to give more variety in her songs, and her voice is extremely moving and powerful, especially in Diamond Crevasse and Northern Cross. Although, both girls are extremely talented. |

| As for the songs,Sheryl is better of course! As for voice Sheryl's voice is typical and Ranka's is beautiful but Sheryl sings more lively not to mention she defeats Ranka in beauty.And i hate Ranka and loove Sheryl so...SHERYL NOME all the way!~ <3 |

| After watching the movie I'm really torn now. Both are looking better than in the series. I might still leaning towards Sheryl (same reason as before) but Ranka is making it hard to ignore. |

| This is an unbiased view: Sheryl's voice is really unique and powerful but she breathes too much when she sings. And sometimes it sounds like she's in pain when she sings. Also her voice isn't suited to sing preppy upbeat songs. Ranka's voice is really smooth and calming not to mention cute. Her english is also better but her voice isn't as lout as Sheryl's. |
