The whistle character is just unnecessary. At least give her a personality that matches someone who whistles instead of talking. That was the only thing I didn't like about this show.. besides the obvious camera artifacts being magical creatures or w/e.

Ova was ok, but just as I got somewhat familiar with the characters... it already ended.

So good news. It won't be another Aria (it's far too "hyper" for that..) but it should be enjoyable nonetheless.

I hope they improve the writing and characterizations though, Aria is still just considerably better than this, but then again Aria is just one of a kind ...

Excellent news I just got of this and since I loved the OVAs it will be a excellent show for me. The ban on top of all things has 0 effect on this so it will be great to see this.

I just hope they show us things when the father was alive and how the other characters come into play.

Show is currently slated for Fall 2011, but it may change depending on circumstances.

on a different note, not sure about this one...The OVA was enjoyable, but if this is indeed "an alternate version", I feel like it will just be a bunch of fillers in between. The story was perfect as it was as a pair of 2 episodes

If this means I get new OP and ED singles by Sakamoto and Nakajima the show is worth it.

New news announced today.

Title: Tamayura Hitotose
Hitotose means "one year" in traditional dialect.

It will start from before the events in the OVA, and feature Fuu in her middle school, her moving to Takehara, and after, over the course of a year.

Staff is pretty much the same, Nakajima Megumi confirmed for the anime ED.

Also announced is another round of radio, Drama CDs and an event.

Nice.

OVA was decent, so I'm not going to watch this. I highly doubt it'll be consistent with the OVA's pretty art.

Yeeeessss! I watched this last year and I was so sad that it was just an OVA and ended. >< EXCITEMENT.

I hope it'll be as good as the OVA.

Does anyone have info on the runtime of this series? I know I as excited last season for something called morita-san blah blah but it turned out to be 5 minute shorts, hoping I'm not in for another let down = /.
