DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ok, so I'm coming straight from Mobile Suit Gundam to this and the OP just blew me away, its all sparkly better animation and better music! Also: nice to know the Gundam franchise hasnt lost its penchant for slapping people randomly. As evidenced by Kamille's teacher randomly slapping him to the ground. Lovely. And: What the hell was Kamille doing in this episode!? I'm so lost. |

| My second gundam series (the first being the 0079 movie trilogy) and I felt it was a good sart, although a bit confusing... Anyway I think I'm gonna like Kamille's character. Also, from what I've this series has improved a lot from the first one. |

| Very nice first episode, Camille is really hot-blooded it's quite surprising that's someone like him had succeeded to enter in a military school. Also the intervention of the Mk2 in the end felt like a deus ex machina to help Camille to escape but well, whatever. The animation is very nice and the OST is quite funky, lurve them. |
| I'm watching this right after MSG 0079 too. I'll most likely watch every Gundam series release in order of release date. I think Camille is an interesting lead. Don't like him now, but he sure likes to fight a lot. I'm a bit lost in translation regarding the new AEUG and the Titans now, but I'm sure I'll get over that really soon. The opening is great. I got so excited when I saw the WB crew in that time. |

| I swear there's something about great anime that tells you it's great in the first 10 seconds. I was like "0079 was pretty good, time too see another pretty good show" and then 10 seconds in it was already far better. Fuck, this is going to be great! Seriously, everything about this episode was freaking great! I know I'm going to love this series to death. |

| Yup, like a lot of ye I've come straight from Gundam 0079! The OP, animation, music, everything has been kicked up a notch! Ha just like the first ep of 0079 Char sneaks into a colony! Love it! I'm glad he's back and will be taking a lead role in this! I do like the new sunglasses look but nothing beats his old awesome sauce uniform imo.I hope we get to see some of the whitebase crew eventually. The op showed everyone except Sayla... I wonder what has become of her. Awesome slaps as usual! |

| I liked it, it is a bit confusing now but I'm sure everything will come to light. I actually like the name Kamille for a guy haha, but I have a thing for girly guys names. Everyone thinks giving guy names to girls is the best thing ever but I think girl names on guys sound way cooler than guy names on girls, usually. Haha anyway but OT rant... I'm surprised the animation is so good! |

| I'm watching this after Mobile Suit Gundam. How can I watch anything without Char as the antihero so soon? The art and animation has vastly improved. o_o yikes. This series is going to be so good. I'll miss Char's classy Halloween costume, but I'm liking the shades. :s I think I prefer Kamille to Amuro so far. Then again, anybody could best that whiny emo kid. I was shocked when I saw that he was 15 years old. I seriously thought he was 12. Amuro deserves the girly name much more than Kamille. This guy's hard-core. There's no way that cameo wasn't Bright unless he has an identical twin. |

| Alright, back to watching another Gundam. Interesting first episode and the animation is really good. As usual the first episode of every Gundam seems to be confusing, but after another ep or two, everything is clear. Nice to see Char again, I'm looking forward to seeing Amuro as well. And that Kamille kid sure is sensitive about his name. |
| This is my second Gundam series after finishing 00 a few days ago. It's a big jump from HD to this 80s stuff but it looks great and reminds me of the very good days from Saint Seiya, Speed Racer and others. Kamille seems cool though I don't understand yet what the hell is he running away from. And that MkII over there will surely cause trouble. |
| And we have our first slap after 3 minutes of first episode! That was fast. So, there is Camille running around and there is attack on colony. Camille is punching people like a boss. I am coming here after watching MSG. Should I have watched something in between this and original MSG? |

| Good start to a sequel series. Seems that everyone's out to hit Kamille, and for good reason. Also, I see Bright Noa making a cameo appearance. Hope to see more of the former White Base crew soon on the Argama. Oh, and like many others who pointed that fact out, I see they stepped up on the animation quality. Not bad for 1985. |

| I'm surprised by how many people like Kamille over Amuro. So far I find Kamille to a lot worse, getting so butthurt about his name. I think he's pretty immature. Love the slap 3 minutes in. And Char's pretty cool though he acts like Lalah contacts him randomly. lol |
| So, here am I after watched the original, the OVAs between 0079 and before Zeta, 08th MS Team, 0080, and 0083 (MS IGLOO later). It's 3 minutes after the series started and we already got a slap. I'm loving this already. But seriously though, I don't know what Kamille is thinking. Picking fights left and right, and people liking him more than Amuro? I'd say he has the same case like Shinn's impulse. |

| Amazing episode!! Been dying to watch this ever since Lol i'm the same as everyone! I just finished this 5 days ago and now i'm starting with Zeta Gundam :) It's awesome to start a series knowing Char survive the One Year War!!! Sexy and Stylish as hell!! Lol Kamille is very different than Amruo. Definitely more aggressive than him. And the opening how he drives and even bites his finger is very Amuro like though XD And the girl telling him that it's bad manners feels like it's Frau all over again! Seems everyone here is much more aware what a Newtype is. The way Char infiltrated the base reminds me of the very same scene when he infiltrated White Base! He even dodge the lasers and he knew they couldn't hit him like he said from the 079 series. Music is groovy and amazing!! It can be dark at times and very upbeat the next scene. I do love Kamille not giving a shit and would punch anyone, government official or not! Also the PV of the next episodes isn't spoilery anymore!! Now i can watch them unlike the first series where they tell who dies before it even happened!! Can't wait to see how this unfolds!!! Finally some Zeta Gundam action!! |

| Not liking Kamille so that from what has been shown. The girl he was with seems pretty annoying too. Seems "Kamille" is the only word in her vocabulary. Pretty big upgrade form the animation/art standpoint. I'm guessing that Kamille is a newtype since he sensed when the colony was getting invaded? |

| I'm also coming straight from MSG. The new opening is great. I was really happy to see all of the old crew members from the White Base in it. I love all of the changes production-wise. The art is much more detailed and although the animation was rough near the beginning (particularly that running scene with Kamille and the girl), it improved dramatically afterwards. Even the OST seems better. I particularly enjoyed the old-school techno soundtrack that was playing when Char escaped from the colony. Speaking of whom, Char's still great. I don't know what he's been up to recently, but I think it's pretty safe to guess he's with this AEUG organization. It looks like he'll have a prominent role in this series too, which is definitely a good thing. I wonder if we'll be following him or Kamille more closely. I don't know why I'm thinking that; I just get the feeling Char might be more important this time around. As for Kamille, he's proved me wrong: I didn't think it could get much worse than how Amuro was starting out. He's a jerk and has way too short of a fuse. Why was he going to the spaceport in the first place, anyway? Oh, and I think the show was hinting pretty strongly that he's a newtype. Gotta love that slap at the beginning of the episode. I definitely caught the Bright cameo too. All-in-all it was an excellent start. |

| Meh, I didn't care much for the music in the new OP or ED, I vastly prefer the original show's OP & ED to these ones. However, the score during the episode itself was incredible. I'm not really sure how I feel about these characters yet... they seem pretty similar to certain members of the original cast thus far. I really love the setting here, though... this world that they're building seems slightly more fleshed out than the one in the original Gundam, even after only one episode. I'll be curious to see where they go with it. |

| I'm coming too from MSG, the animation and the art are way better, that's really good, char is the best as always and this new main character Kamille seems to be amuro over 9000, everything that he did in this episode made no sense at all. |
