Gawd - that was a superb piece of film making... This is classic cinema folks - enjoy what you've seen. You won't see much better. |

Buh, I didn't cry. Sorry, but Ace acted like a dumbass. He threw every help and support he received, and every sacrifice for his sake, for just a single provocation. He had the chance to survive, and that was the target of each pirate there, goddamnit! Well, I guess Intelligence is a low attribute in their family. |

After all that they went through, knowing Whitebeard will die, and having that devotion mocked by Akainu is something Ace could not forgive. Luffy is kinda to blame here. Guy should have kept running but we all know that wasn't going to happen. Akainu is just really clever to manipulate people on the battlefield like this. |

:( God,the next episode gave me goosebumps! Did you see the rampage Whitebeard went on? He even bloodied Akainu! Thats what I love about One Piece. The intense anticipation when you're about to see two great titans clash.Totally unpredictable. Its not found in any other shounen. |

I see most of you guys forgotten the fight between luffy and usopp, that was pretty sad too. still one of the best episodes. Ace, you wont be forgotten I am the bone of my sword. Steel is my body and fire is my blood. I have created over a thousand blades. Unknown to death, nor known to life. Have withstood pain to create many weapons. Yet those hands will never hold anything. So as I pray, Unlimited Blade Works. |

To see Whitebeard dish out major damage on Akainu, guy got it coming for talking so much. |

This episode was okay, not more than that. When I read the manga I cried for three days straight. While watching the ep... a few sobs. I actually liked the first half way better than the second one. That's quite telling, I think. MorningGlory said: The episode could have been improved slightly, like the splat that Ace made when he fell like a tomato Indeed, that was extremely ridiculous. Also, Luffy should have stayed frozen or let out an inhuman roar. What's with the shitty sobbing? Must be same as that Shirohige's weak ass "Gurarara". It should have been thunderous ffs. Mayumi Tanaka was awesome though, her voice was what made my heart break in the end. Jimbei was fantabulously badass, Sengoku holding Garp down made me d'awww, and Jokerit said: Akainu you awesome sexy bastard ^_____________^ THIS. Geez Akainu, just how sexy can you get? P.S. Hiluluk's death was still sadder in the animu. |
