Wasn't bad, but wasn't awesome.

Epic explosions!!

I didn't like it one bit. I was boring. If I wanted Gachi Rangers I would have just watched some old time power rangers.

A little disappointed that this was the first episode wasn't expecting this at all. I think it would've worked out better if it just stopped after Hitoha was like wth is wrong with gachi rangers and continued to build in the rl parts with her interacting with Yabe.

Not such a great start, but I'm having high hopes for the rest of the episodes.

Not as funny as the best of the first series, and since there's so few episodes this series, maybe this was a waste.

Wasn't bad, though. There were a few good jokes about bad live-action TV, kinda like the first episode of Haruhi,but that did a much more thorough job with the idea.

It was kind of interesting that the plot was almost a revisionist version of a crappy sentai show. The villains have an actually evil plan ("kill all the children"), the heroes fail to stop them, the townspeople know who the heroes are and hold them responsible for protecting them (or failing to), and the initial defeat of the monster is just a vicious beating. Of course, they went for humor at the end and had the kids come back to life.

Wow. Simply, wow. I usually don't take direct quotes from anime, but in this case; ''What a lame episode'', is exactly what i'd use to describe this first episode! That was a real disappointment of a ''Mitsudomoe'' episode. I was excited to get to see more hilarious content, but this was just a let down. I'm hoping we get back into something a little better next week. It's just the price you pay when you want to see more of what you love. Looking forward to the next!

There was some funny stuff in this episode...but this wasn't what I wanted to see for the first episode. Hopefully that's the most Gachi Rangers we are going to get.

facepalm what a way to start a 2nd session however only 8 ep and they wasted 1 ep with Gachi Rangers....

Very disappointing.
The Gachi Rangers are so boring. Sure it`s good to see what Hitoha likes but not a whole episode.
Next episode will be the usual Mitsudomoe I think.

This season is rated R and the first episode is definitely not the reason.

preview says that there'll be more GakiRangah.. i'm dissapoint.

I didn't expect to have a Gachi rangers ep.

It was kinda lame just like what Hitoha said.

The only thing I found funny there is the curry freak.

And the next ep seems to be the real start of the comedy.

BTW, why 8 eps instead of 12 or 13?

Those aren't the official ratings. Everyone can change them, so someone on this website thought this isn't appropriate for kids that are younger than 17 years and decided to make the rating R.
We can change it go G or Rx if we want to. But it needs to be changed to 13+.


Most likely because the first season sold like shit. Japan found Seitokai Yakuindomo a lot more interesting, those tasteless bastards.

So gachi-wrong!! Seriously...

hmm i really liked it lol. Of course it cant be compared to a "normal" ep but thats the charme of mitsudomoe i think. And who cant find this awesome stupidy not funny xD
