I heard all the talk about the plot being awful but I decided to put that aside because that's obviously not the reason why I watched Gundam. For the most part, the movie was watchable; there were lots of flashy lasers - sort of like a cartoon version of Tron L.

With about half an hour to go, the characters decided they needed to start saying stupid things like "we're not fighting, we're unlocking the future" but I thought that was just a reminder that the show as in fact Gundam. And then they said the same things again. And again. And again.

Before I knew it, the movie was drawing to a close with Setsuna opening the stargate and then suddenly, a gigantic space flower appeared. The credits started rolling. My facial expression went from :O to :( ) in a split second.

I fast forwarded to the epilogue and saw Setsuna meeting Marina for the first time since they were young and she says I'VE MISSED YOU. Trolled hard missy, that's what you get for being clingy. He's metal now so I guess that makes him some kind of super-dildo; maybe they can still make up for lost time. When I thought that the movie would just end already, the Gundam turned into flowers.

I feel insulted now. Whoever made this actually tricked me into watching it.

Gundam, I am disappoint.

Lmao, I just finished watching, and I am crying with laughter. Quality entertainment for sure. This was a comedy, not an action shounen. I couldn't believe my eyes when the flower appeared, I was like "Is this for real!?" Are the producers on crack?

I think the only legit fighting scene in the movie was the one Andrei Smirnov was in , that was Epic i think.

This move maybe a waste of time because you don’t understand the motive and the story. A lot may have just watched the series because of the action without understanding the story. Those who watched season 1 & 2 and understood the story and motive would also understand what is happening in the movie.

Yes, we all know what happened in the movie but it was more like a fairy tale you would tell a 6-year-old.

Now that I mention it, that does sound accurate.

(Don't worry, I have taken note of your incendiary tone.)

saw pics of that 00 movie on rc & yep it prove it's 00ver-rated.

eally they can give set-light a girl & be less humam yea a total BOOing in many ways give it more WORST than even no wonder this series has FAILED & will never match the level of GS series.

& yet i was right whole time on it that someone called me a prophet for knewing it was an 00ver-rated movie really is not worth it really add aliens in gundam do not mix well & yet prove it FAILED in many ways.

give that i was against whole 00ver-rated for years especially seeing pics, vids, etc that don't go level to match GS era in all types.

look at 00ver-rated so many shoot 1st questions later, jumping the guns, too many trust issues, filler/cannon fodder characters (besides most of the 2nd half characters got killed-off really no love of 2nd half) besides worst it was bad to split it to 2 sets of 25eps.

yea overall the whole 00ver-rated sort a hurted/damage whole gundam world in many ways.

give yet fanbase, popularity, characters rankings till now show GS era still better than 00ver-rated.

i guess that means 00ver-rated is nothing but a 2nd rate trying hard copycat show with so many flaws in all kinds.

so with that being gone & good ridencice now we get next era with my ideas of being

1.main lead female gundam protagnist pilot tv series

2.gundam version of kamen rider decade/35th super sentai crossover series in a gundam style

3.the return of the GS era (yea still owe a movie) even yet the unthinkable the 3rd GS tv season.

really this what must be to SAVE gundam world.

& yea main guy in 00ver-rated aka set-light really by worst character of this era no emotion, lame, don't want women love, etc dood really HE SO NEED TO GET (BLEEPING) LAID.

Khm... understanding doesn't equals appreciation. whether it keeps the plot that all bad things comes from lack of corresponding and mutual understanding, or not... it's still boring as hell, and it still has fracking aliens.

They should have spent more time on the epilogue. Seriously what happened to everyone else?? did they die?? Did they innovate?? Who ended up with who??

Also Descartes and Meena were just there they had zero character development while the Billy/Meena scenes did make me lol hard it didn't really do anything at all for the plot. I didn't get the hype for Descartes I really thought he was going to be the epic next to final boss or something, but to have him die in such a pathetic way that early in the movie I am disappoint I think he was just there for eye candy.

Although I did love all the little Saji and Louise moments plus Hallelujah showing off his epic pakour skills when the vehicles at that one base became infected by the ELS. Also the part where Chiaki's song played in the background when Andrei was fighting.

Overall I'm having trouble giving it a 6 or 7/10 unless they release an extended edition or something with a better epilogue if they do that then I'll give it an 8/10 cause I was hoping for closure for all the characters not just Setsuna and Marina when I first heard this movie being announced.

so now look you're all in agree with me that 00ver-rated movie is a disaster movie to watch yea really what would better IF they that set-light be more HUMAN & go with the set-feldt pairing but instead 00ver-rated just SCREW you & all gundam world.

hmm really IF ever do more of this 00ver-rated i say best answer to it go http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lA-271GIsZU NEXUS attack on everything on 00ver-rated to prove it just a FAILED series & that GS era is the real answer of this generation.

yea that what 00ver-rated really deserve this http://herotvforums.com/images/smilies/idiot.gif & now that experiment has been "pull the plug" now better to look new era cause i see my ideas are likely to happen & maybe GS era will return.

Disappointing movie. Was hoping it would be better than it what it turned out to be. At most it's a 7.5 out 10. Had more enjoyment watching Trigun: Badlands Rumble movie than this. Now that movie left me with a smile.

The message of almost every Gundam series is that communication and understanding are key to world peace. That doesn't suddenly make the plot deep and meaningful. It was choppy, slow, and most importantly, boring. Lasers flying everywhere could not disguise the lack of substance.

@ENTER_KLACMAN : Please stop saying "00ver-rated", it's not going to catch on, no matter how many times you type it out XD

UC is better in terms of character, politics and universe building.

CE is good series for younger audience.

00 employs some hardcore SF elements that not everyone like (but I do).

I admit 00 overall is kinda disappointing... Then again, I wanted an anime adaption of Issac Asimov....I'm a bit disappointed it didn't go deeper.

ye you may imply its going shallow because its going repetitive now but this show is not just for people who watch a lot of gundam shows

the message on the movie like "Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding" is a quote from Albert Einstein and its a good lesson for kids that will be the next generation and a good reminder for adults

so i dont think this show is a letdown its not made for adults only rather for future gundam funs especially the kids

but still it end being a SCREW YOU for watching this 00ver-rated.

really so much hype in many give mention those new characters in it hello it more FILLERS/EXTRAS in disguise.

besides aliens really even so WHAT that is by far worst idea EVER geez no wonder gundam & aliens will never be a good mix.

yet i knew whole time it will SUNK yet i was right whole & i was a prophet for knewing that movie is not good to watch.

besides they argee with me on it.

& now it over, nail in coffin, buried, etc so her what must be next to get us rid of this 00ver-rated hangover.

1.main lead female gundam protagnist pilot tv series

2.gundam version of kamen rider decade/35th super sentai crossover series in a gundam style

3.the return of the GS era (yea still owe a movie) even yet the unthinkable the 3rd GS tv season.

give on the following

main lead female gundam protagnist pilot tv series "i would seiyu with no gundam experience for example ayako, mamiko, mai nakahara, ami kosh, eri kit, yui horie, Saori Hayami, marina inoue, aya hirano, etc female with no gundam experience as MAIN LEAD females (give on english i do want Chantal Strand on the MAIN LEAD really way she sounded you got put her in MAIN LEAD roles)."

gundam version of kamen rider decade/35th super sentai crossover series in a gundam style "sure SS & kamen rider did those & we have video game crossovers but in a actual tv series would be something especially so many dream/crossover/team-ups/etc of different world of gundam yea it's like your dream came true."

the return of the GS era (yea still owe a movie) even yet the unthinkable the 3rd GS tv season "yea this one is still those loyal to GS & yet is still MAIN gundam till now of this generation so sure the movie must happen then what next maybe 3rd GS season, prequal series to GS, more spinoff, Gundam SEED Club Yonkoma the series, remake/reboot of GS, etc cause either way GS era is still really MAIN gundam is this generation".

Gundam is supposed to be manly mecha series. Guys pilot stuff. I doubt Sunrise could pull off another Cagalli Yula without turning it into moe shit. Besides, they seem to enjoy trolling the audience lately.

Adding aliens wasn't a bright idea. It didn't help Indiana Jones, it didn't help Gundam 00 either. Ending was lulzy. That long CGI scene about aliens' history wasn't really interesting. Fights, which should be great and fabulous, were just static backgrounds with pew pew and laser beams all over the screen.

Bonus points for showing Neil Dylandy. Man, I love me some eyepatches.
And that tiny holo-Tieria. It's both cool and horrible how expendable he is.

Saji's plentiful of appearances got on my nerves. "Don't die" got repetitive. Pulling pilots out of mechas in the middle of battle wasn't going to save them. I was hoping they would stop using naked trans-am, it's creepy.

YOU DON'T KILL GRAHAM AKER, DO YOU HEAR ME, SUNRISE? YOU DON'T.

Apparently, in Gundam 00 universe, only Patric Colasaur is immortal.

But Graham's best buddy Katagiri being all awkward with Mina was cute. On the other hand, interaction between Setsuna F. Gundam and Feldt bored me to death, it was so artificial and shallow. Not to mention all scenes with Marina, yawn.

I was soooo hyped for this movie. And I got trolled harder than when watching Panty & Stocking filler episodes. At least no one sang 'Tomorrow', I'd delete the movie straight away if that happened.

That was how I felt when i watched it. I felt all the supposed serious moments such as Hallelujah jumping around like some ninja incredibly stupid and the whole ELS "Ribbons" scene was utterly awkward instead of "interesting". I couldn't stop laughing when Saji threw a chair at him, let alone the sticky grenade that is thrown lateron. This film is an utter disaster as an action movie, but would work great like a comedy as you said. I will pretend that this film never existed and 00 ended at season 2.

Seriously, if you think that the Seed series are among the "best" of Gundam, you are sadly mistaken. Seed is nothing more than a horrible remake of the original Gundam and its sequels. Why don't you go watch some of series directed Tomino himself, specifically Zeta Gundam along with Turn A? And if you still think that Seed is the best after watching them because you dismiss the art as old and crappy or the show stupid, I can only conclude that you have no brains at all. If these Gundam series never existed nor were they successful, you wouldn't have had Seed at all.
