| Edit- OMG. I am so speechless. Sunako & Muroi-san are most likely dead. I didn't care about Muroi-san, but Sunako was a favorite of mine. Then there's Megumi. I know that a lot of people don't like her, and are happy about her death, but I did. I think she helped make the show more interesting. And then she said: "You guys are the ones who're strange!" right before she died, and I was thinking about how true that was. The only time I cried in the whole episode was when Natsuno died. Although we didn't see it happen, there's no way the two of them could've gotten out of that situation. He was such a good character. Someone I wish that did die was Toshio. He went way too far. End of story. In all, I started the series hating the Shiki, and hoping that Toshio would defeat them. But seeing as how the village dealed with the situation, and eventually grew too harsh, I gradually switched to rooting for some shiki to survive. I'm glad the village burned down in the end. Also, can ANYONE please help me understand two things. 1- Who was in the blue car at the end, and what was in the box? Was that Muroi & Sunako? :o (JUST REWATCHED, and I'm confirming that it was Muroi driving. The person had glasses and the same eyes as him.) 2- Who got on the bus during the credits that the two kids (forgot their name) were surprised to see? Does this mean a sequel? Because although the people in the car might be who I said, I have never seen the two people on the bus.. (Woah, I just realized how much I wrote, sorry). |

| I'd imagine if you took the climax out of any suspense/thriller, then it would be a waste of time. Also, who was the person driving the car, and what was in the box? I must know >.< |

| Rushed... how? Did you not get that both sides were fighting for survival in the 2 previous episodes? How would you have preferred to see it paced out? And remember there are going to be two insert episodes on the DVDs/BDs that will take place prior (I imagine to show what happened to Kaori and her brother and maybe something else) |
| Oh Jesus fucking Christ, this episode was absolutely amazing. Thank GOD they didn't kill my Sunako. I did get manly tears when she got assaulted by the creepy bearded guy. Also, Megumi... That was way too cruel. They should've just finished her off immediately, the way they handled her was just way too cruel. 9,5/10. I don't know if I'll give it a 9 or a 10... But there was a preview in the ending credits. What for exactly? For the specials? Weren't the specials episodes 20.5 and 21.5? The preview looked like an episode 23 to be honest. |

| I guess not a few people would have complaints about this ending. because yeah, they survived after all. So their haters won't get satisfied, maybe. it was a bit too rushed and they didn't show enough aftermath and post-fin episodes, but I like this finale. well, Shiki was an epic anime all in all. Best anime of the year, in my opinion. Many a man lived and died, on their own will and tenet. |
| I just wished there was more time to give each character their due. This episode the various remaining shiki just show up to be killed a second later. Natsuno, especially, got shafted. The specials might fix that a bit but for now I feel a bit torn about the show. Also, I kind of wish there had been a small epilogue of sorts. An extra episode to wrap things up wouldn't of hurt. And what was up with the next episode preview? I don't know.. I didn't hate the show. |

| O.O I don't know what to say. I was soooooo mega glad Ookawa died! Ha ha. The village is gone and that's how it was supposed to happen from the very beginning. I'm sad Natsuno and Tatsumi died (maybe they are alive, but nah). Muroi turned into shiki i guess, escaped from the village and what about the box? Sunako's head? xD Great anime. |
| Great ending!! Wow, Megumi's death *speechless* Karma sure is a bitch, isn't it? Too bad Natsuno or Kaori didn't had the honor but you can't have everything. Muroi.... man it was so predictable that he would become a jinrou. I did hope he would die together with Sunako in the church though. But nooooo, Sunako lives. That's just wrong on too many levels. Natsuno kept his word and went out with a bang. Tatsumi sure survived a whole lot (various gunshots, caraccidents). It was pretty sad to see him go, I liked him. And Natsuno too of course. The whole "where is Akira" deal got resolved within 10 seconds XD Anyway, there should totally be a season two now with Toshio hunting Sunako and Seishin. They'll probably bring death to some other village now. D: |

No. No. I meant that, while I thought most of the series lacked any real suspense or thrill - which, in turn, bored me - the last few episodes, saved it from being pointless fodder. Really, most of the events that played out were predictable. And it took too long for the "mystery" to ultimately be revealed. Eh, I guess that's just me... ^_- |

Wasn't that scenes playing from this episodes? I thought it mainly showed the car driving away and Akira looking out the window at the burning village, the finals scenes. But I could be wrong. |

| Wow, it took a shitload of ammo to take down Tatsumi compared to that other Jinrou girl. And he didn't even die from it all! I suppose that other female Jinrou probably got staked after being shot in the head, though. Ookawa's speech was right on. It's just too bad that it cost him his chance to kill Sunako. I almost felt sorry for Sunako this episode. Almost, but not quite. I did feel sorry Shimizu at her end, but I know she was cold and deserved to die, so it doesn't upset me that much. Definitely pissed me off that both Muroi and Sunako lived, though. I hated them both the most in this show. "I just don't like you guys." What a reason! I loved Natsuno's conversation with Tatsumi, too. Akira and Kaori lived! Yes! At least some of the main characters lived and didn't turn into Shiki. It was nice to see Natsuno there with them for a reunion. Natsuno and Tatsumo blown away to bits in the "hell hole." Hm, I wonder if they'll survive that? Haha, I can't help but think of Hidan's end in Naruto... they seem sort of similar. So I guess Muroi is a Jinrou now. Great... a replacement for Tatsumi. A bad replacement. We're out of source material now, aren't we? I wonder if we'll get a second season. I'd love it, but if we're out of source material and they try to do something original it could fail epicly. It would be worth it to see Muroi and Sunako die, though. 9/10 - might have been a 10 if Sunako and Muroi died. |

In fact the humans seem FAR more blood trusty toward the end than the shiki ever did. But that's just my opinion..... |
| 10+ episodes about bizarre deaths, 10+ episodes of bloody vampire hunt, one loli in a box and one short dialogue about... what? morals? god? I dont really know and i dont really care. This show was total failure. |
| Vampire loli in a box won in the end :D Loved how humans got depicted as crazy genociders versus shiks who generally ran for their dear unlives. Brings out the question: who's the real monster here? 9/10 for the series overall. |

| Muroi becoming a jinrou was kinda out of the blue, but oh well. And yes, it was Muroi who drobve that car, I stopped the video at that part, they showed his face clearly for a moment. They showed us a suitcase in the car, implying Sunako was there too. I thought the ending was rushed as well, but it's not a big thing. I'm waiting for the special episodes. Oh, and yeah. That wasn't really a preview (me think), just kinda like an epilogue. |

| Wow that was supaaaaaaa epic. Megumi's death was absolutely brutal. Natsuno was cool when he said i just hate u guys, to bad he and tatsumi died (I hope not though) Toshio was cool too, i wonder what he's gonna do next, i doubt he can continue being a doctor after all that, the only part i hated was how Ookawa died after being stabbed in the back ( that was a so not cool way to die for an epic guy like that) and especially by that wuss Moroi. Why didn't moroi and sunako die instead of natsuno and tatsumi T_T |

| Awesome anime! Megumi's death was a bit to cruel. So, Sunako and Muroi survive. I don't care about Sunako, but I really wanted Muroi to die... Looking forward to the specials. I hope one of them will be about Tohru and Ritsuko :) |

| Terrible terrible end. The drama and build up was incredible and then it was all for naught. The whole cycle repeats itself without any sense of closure while the village dies. This show could have gotten a 10..it really could have. But such an ending left a very bitter taste in my mouth. The cycle should have ended with Sunako getting killed and then "her curse" would be lifted and the endless cycle of turning villages into shiki cities would finally be over. Shiki can definitely be added to the list of great shows with shit endings. "Congratulations" Shiki..you now join the ranks of everyone's favorite Gainax shows and "Madhouse endings". It's a shame you weren't done by one of those studios..cause at least I would've been expecting a terrible end. 8/10..what a damn shame. |

No I really have to agree that the episode felt rushed and in my opinion the anime could have been made even better, but nevetheless it was awesome. The characters were great, the feeling which it managed to provoke in me were superb. It' like... like... the village slowly dying out. End for everybody (almost) and everything. I love dark stuff. Muhahahahaaaaaaa. |

AND FUCK YES I KNEW MEGUMI WAS GONNA DIE EPICALLY i reli wish it was natsuno who staked her tho. natsunos explosion was so win. i wish he was wearing his BA shoes tho. glad sunako lived. hope shes a genius and tries that all over again. beard guy's death was awesome too. this anime was full of win. id give it a 9/10 cuz it was slow in the beginning and cuz they let useless idiots like muroi and kaori live. love old school vamps this was awesome and refreshing. |

| Wow! Brutal ending (as in violent not in quality). Some graphic demises there - Megumi's come to mind. Perhaps it's me but quite a lot during this episode found myself wanting Sunako not to get caught or killed despite her being a central cause of all the vampirism. They did a good job in making her come across as more of a sympathetic victim here then Bam! - out come the fangs! Great end to a great series in my opinion. |

| I was expecting more of this last episode, but it was ok even if it was too rushed. I was expecting a confrontation between Megumi and Kaori. They didn't showed us how Akira got away. I know it was Natsuno who rescued him, but I expected that they could show us. I just knew that Seishin would become a jinrou since he was bitten by who knows how many times, but seeing him killing a massive man like Ookawa knowing that he's a fragile person was just wrong. Natsuno was so sad seeing Tohru and Ritsuko lying down and even if he died with a BANG his sacrifice was pointless. I also didn't imagine that the staff could make a mistake and show a jinrou who was killed by a bullet just to show Tatsumi who was shot from head to toes and was still alive. Also what happened with the man that was hypnotized by the jinrou girl to kill Toshio? Megumi's dead was indeed cruel, but I think that she got what she deserved since she was just a bitch with everyone except Natsuno when she was alive. Karma is a bitch. I wonder what happened with the village and with Toshio? As for Sunako I was expecting to see her dead since she killed so many humans. 7/10 |

I never was ATTACHED to Sunako, but she definately was cute and adorable, and I DID want her to live. I liked Muroi, but my favorite was DEFINATELY Megumi through the entire show. Another question, anyone know what ever happened to that hideously drawn guy with the weird face? Did he ever get his brains busted in by his sister in law or not? IT. NEVER. SHOWED. IT. Shiki was good, but so many characters to keep up with. ME personally, I like the end. Because it makes you think, who's really wrong in the world? The people who kill to survive, or the people who murder to survive? |

| Sunako should have got what she deserved which isn't surviving. Megumi got what she deserved, being tortured by being ran over by cars, trucks, and being pinned by two tractors before dying. Also, the very ending was inconclusive, most endings like this have a reporter and/or government officials talking about the situation and a possible investigation then it ends. 9/10 |
