So it finally ended. Having followed this for so long, waiting every month for a new chapter, I'd say this was a satisfying ending, not as good as what I had expected, but satisfying. I'm still having mixed feelings about how it ended, but I'm kind of glad it was a happy end of some sort.

While the entire story had some plot holes and have probably left many confused, this was, overall, a great read. I'm not going to go into any details, but the ending in particular was quite... Amazing, for the lack of any better word that I can think up of with my tired mind right now.

Now all that's left is to hope for them to make a full season anime out of this, with Esuno sensei supervising so they don't screw it up and spawn something hideous. And if that ever happens, I wouldn't mind if they changed the voice actors or not... Except for Aizawa Mai. Please don't change Aizawa Mai. She did the best and most unexpected voice acting for that pilot episode.

I don't even know what to say about that ending..no sir I do not.

Cute chapter, I'm glad to see a happy end.

Overall 9/10. It started out as my favorite manga of all time, but the ending got pretty wild and the whole parallel worlds doesn't really do it for me. Actually, to be honest, I feel towards the end, the plot became very lazy. As if they were writing the first thing that came to their heads.

"Okay, so... how about the gods take Yuno's memory and put it in the other Yuno, and have her break time and space with a hammer so that yuno and yuuki can be together?"

"Great, fund it."

Also, someone explain to me WHY WERE THE BABIES FLYING?

I think I would have been satisfied with the ending when Yuno said, "I think I am forgetting something."
But then they gave the Biscuit Hammer to Yuno...

Oh, a "deus ex machina" ending.
At least, the forced happy end was funny.


Minene is confused too.

I don't get it. I really don't. O.o

Indeed. I think I would have preferred a troll ending, or even an ambiguous restart of the Future Diary Game so that there's an infinite loop.

i agree but overall i quite liked the ending even though it wasnt perfect. it is still one of my favorite mangas


i think that it may have something to do with Deus transferring part of his power into Minene a few chapters ago

A pretty satisfying ending. I did enjoy it, but I felt this could of been one of the series that really got to me in the last chapter. There are some series that have amazing endings, I felt that Mirai Nikki could of been one, but in the end it wasn't quite as great as I hoped it would be, but it definitely wasn't bad.

It did start to get a bit confusing during the later chapters, but overall I loved reading this manga.

Um...it was okay.
I think it would have been better if they ended it with Yuno in the coffee shop with her friends...
But it wasn't bad.


@Kanon-kun maybe because of the latent god powers Deus gave to Minene a while back?

also...did anyone else notice Ai (7th) was pregnant? Lol.

and I squee'd at the one panel Akise and Tsubaki were in.

wait...how was Akise there, anyways? I thought he was just a stand-in created by Deus, and therefore couldn't have other-world selves.
Unless...ah, forget it.

After Doing some research, I found the site that hosted the chapter when I originally read it a day agos, stopped RIGHT after we read what is onn yuki's phone... so here is my REVISED critique of manga:

other than the fact that yuki world 2 STILL let the world be destroyed, and it took them THREE!!! different parallel universes to get it right, then all was good about this series... maybe too sappy of an ending for such death oriented series, but still nice... however, I would LOVE to see a after after-story of yuno & yuki as god's see what they do with their powers or something like that...

Boy, this manga got pretty fucking strange rather quickly here in the last few chapters.



I agree. Reading everything up to it I guess I was expecting a little more in the end.

Or maybe something that made sense. I dunno.


I still really enjoyed the manga so it's hard to bash it too much. I didn't really hate this chapter either. I'm just going to have to let this one roll around in my head a little bit before I can comment more I think.

If the manga ended with yuno in the coffee shop the ending would have sucked. There are people that liked yuno and I wanted her and yukki to have a happy ending. I was happy.

And I also thought of the biscuit hammer. When I saw Yuno again.

About akise. Deus said that he can't bring back the dead, meaning he also can't just make a human out of nothing. He can however take a person that already exists and make him into anything. Akise is his creation but he always existed and has a normal origin. You even see his parents in paradox. In the third world he somehow ended up with 6th like he did in paradox. Good end.

I have a lot of things that I want to say about the ending but I don't want to bother.

I started to freak out when it showed the credits but I was like.... nooo that can't be it!!!!!! there's few more pages left!!!! T_T then random happy ending appears out of nowhere so yayy!!! :D nowwww all I need is an anime cuz this would be so awesome if there was an anime, imagine there be cellphones acting as future diaries like the death note, notebook :3 ahahaha there'd be chaos everywhere D:!!!

oh and @ubergeneral, BISCUIT HAMMER AHAHAHAHAHAHA I totally forgot about that but I believe it flashed in my mind for a quick second, I suddenly realize that this manga and Hoshi no Samidare are very similar, crazy heroine anyone? heh heh

Pretty much the same here, though I had picked up on things getting sling-shot towards the GOOD END in the last chapter.

All in all though, while I'm not exactly unhappy, I'm not sure I'd say I'm satisfied. It's a little too clean of an ending because on the one hand you have the "good end" in the third world where Yukki and Yuno are reunited and everyone lives and is sane and has babies (Minene, the Sevens) and lives happily ever after, but then you remember that the 2nd world got frakked to hell and back.

Like people have said, it's a Deus ex Machina ending. Regardless though, it's been a pretty wild ride that's granted us what's pretty much accepted as THE standard for Yandere.

Mirai nikki lost me somewhere half in even though it started off good. Ir could have been so much more :/

5/10 for this series.

Everything went downhill after Akise died.
