awesome chapter. we're finally going to see the 7 swordsmen...

+ We did not get Naruto blabbering aboug peace and happiness.
+ Zabuza did not get peace-iffied.
+ Flashbacks to the most awesome arc of Naruto.


- Panels wasted on Water-Guy and Raging-Guy. Are we supposed to believe they will DO something important? Otherwise its just usual way of Kishi to add unnecessary sequences of events into main story (Konan's fight, Tsunade's coma and danzo take over, kage summit and so on).
- Kakashi yet again did nothing in his fight.
- Everyone continues to act in "i have one signature move" mode. I woul dundesrstand if they do tat with swordsmen, because the principle of skilled swordsman in japan is to refine the very same style over the entire life.
- There was a time when I hoped that we will get the story saga on seven swordsmen. Actually getting to see country of mist, getting the backgrounds of swordsmen, having them be relevant to the story, maybe make one of them reveal themselves as akatsuki in sudden twist of the arc....its quite sa dthat such a potential lore now is turned into fodder, in favour o fmadara and akatsuki. And even then all theyu serve as is unnecessary chain of events to add additional chapters that do not change the outcome or war, nor storyline, nor add anything to existing characters.
- More no-limit-fallacy techniques. Edo Tensei was cool and all....AS a forbidden and hard to do tech, shrouded in mistery and reminiscent of black magic rituals. Something tha tis used sparselly and according to the situations. Nowadays all edo tensei is is a means to add additional fodder characters so kishi can prolong this "war", which so far seems like a mid-sized brawl between the good with unbeatable morals, who cry in the sight of death and hug babies and the very very bad bastards who control dead....

Overall: apathy continues, even if zabuza flashbacks were nice to be reminded us of how naruto used to be.

Things are getting interesting!! I don't even know where to begin with all that's happening... Kabuto's plan is all i want to know!!

I hope we get to see Kakashi pull some new strings around with the last generation seven swordsmen revived. I'm also thinking about what Naruto will think when he see this battle and who are back!

Consider me more or less satisfied with this chapter, but I have a few questions to ask:

Which generation of the 7 swordsmen Kisame is from?

Where did Zabuza pulll that sword from? Or was it strapped to his back or something?

Will Kakashi actually do something?

Can Kabuto be any more of a pimp? XD

Well... that wasn't bad at all! It's good to see that battle moves on and the fodder ninja are falling little by little... LOL at the scorching Ninjas... such a shame they needed to die in such a horrible way... But I guess that proved that that Paku girl is really dangerous... BTW she's hot xD Oh and the Blast guy's ability is quite cheap but heey.... if he can obliterate a fat guy in an instant that means he's pretty powerful... obviously Zabusa and Haku are... gosh... me wonders what will the Shinobi Army will do against these guys... Oh and against the Seven Mist Swordsmen too! Their sudden summon was certainly a big WOW factor... but... Will they be really useful for the Zombie Army?

Oh and Kabutomaru being such a badass... so he really used Anko for his own benefit and actually managed to perfect the control over the zombies! That ain't kewl... He shouldn't have been able to get hold of Orochimaru's remnant chakra so easily... Your bad Anko.... At least the explanation why Sasori and Sai's bro were freed so easily is okay for now... Lessee what happens next hohoh!

I agree with everything besides the score. Imo it was a boring chapter and the things you pointed out are certainly not in favour of it. 2.5/5 from me.

True, the flashabacks made the chapter, I dont get why I more enjoyed Narutos early hero chants then the current mindless ones, oh well.

Because his early chants felt genuine. You saw a kid who learned the ideals the hard way and despite being shunned retained that heart of gold. You saw a hardworking kid who longed to do everything for his ideal, to last drop of blood.


Nowadays, Naruto hero-chants are turned into Messianic-Lessons. Its no longer the hardworking bratty main hero of the story talking. Its Kishimoto Masashi talking through a hyperventilating, overpowered, destined for everything, pacifistic dumb guy.

There's just no genuineness left.

Ahhh...no wonder every time I've watched the Zabuza arc, I always get touched by it (and not to mention the nostalgia there)...especially the scene/flashback where Naruto was crying and questioning Zabuza like that. O geez...I am really slow at times -__-;

Now I really miss the old Naruto. Probably will rewatch Naruto (not Shippuuden) once again (and skip the fillers).

I guess that was better than last chap.

Good enough chapter for me, some irregularities were found. Kabuto is playing Othello, LOL! I liked Zabusa's line 'Kakashi, keep your blabber mouth shut', same old same old! The best part of the chapter is when the 7 swordsman showed up, the way they posed looked cool, hehe. and its agood-thing that Suigetsu and Juugo finally showed up, after a while. I hope Kakashi became stronger and learned something nice cause I mean Kankuro was surprisingly stronger when he fought Sasori. Is Gari Motoi's brother?, not that its important though, whatever...

I'm pretty sure kisame died AFTER the other akatsuki memebers were resurrected, and Kabuto's a lazy-ass and can't be bothered to go for another shopping spree. I wish he looked for hidan though :( he isnt dead, just buried alive... I guess hes too lazy to buy a shovel aswell =_="

considering that fact that he took so many dead people's DNA, can Kabuto really be a lazy guy? Who cares if he's lazy or not, but you have a point, why didn't he look for Hidan, perhaps because he's so damn annoying and talks nonsense all time...

If if wants to take over the whole damn world, collecting kisame would be quite helpful and how hard would it be to get his DNA?, he pretty much splattered his blood all over the ground... but I suppose Kishis too busy making a zombie Love fest XD

it would have been hilarious if there was a resurrected Cloud Strife as one of the Seven Swordsman. xD
