Nice Gainax ending and a good final episode, but overall I can't really say that I enjoyed this anime. I didn't find the comedy funny and didn't come to like the characters. The episodes with Scanty and Kneesocks were kind of good though.

Plus, a nice Tex Avery Show reference. And really fitting.

Final episode was pretty entertaining, 4/5. Gainax did their action scenes pretty well, and the ending was surprising. Given how shallow the story was in general, they're probably trolling when they're saying something about a second season. I probably wouldn't watch a second season. This show as far as I'm concerned was really grasping for straws.

To sum up the series:

High production values, about 6-7 weeks spent doing a lot of nothing and failing as a comedy, and the other half of the season occasionally doing something that actually is kinda funny and creative. They have their good moments, but a lot of time in this show was wasted doing a lot of nothing. It was to be expected, since you don't get a lot to work with when creating a plot and characters as shallow as the ones in this show. Honestly the real problem with the show is that they really just aren't funny most of the time. Most of the jokes have next to no relevance to the plot itself, and many of the references are too hard to catch.

Awesome how in the final episode... we see Panty & Stocking's Mother...

When I seen stocking cut her up all I could think was "oh, clearly this is just a bad dream one of them is having" then at the end none of them end up waking up ;_;. Though I wouldn't be surprised if that ends up being the opening of season 2 just to troll some more.

What a complete load of shit. No, Gainax. I will not watch season 2.

It said to be continued at the end. So unless they really are trying to piss people off... Im pretty sure there will be SOME type of new season or something.

All it needed was for that laser Panty and Stocking ordered to be a drill like I thought it was, and it would've been perfect.

I wanna know whose these legs were.

This episode was entertaining, but I expected to see a fight between the demon sisters and Panty & Stocking, not some cheap fight between Garterbelt and Corset that only lasted 5 seconds.
To the peoples who expects a second season, you won't get it, you will only get a special or specials episodes. I wasn't even surprised when I saw the ending. That was just like a joke for: Gainax is Gainax.

Either way, the series was better than I expected 7/10
