I think she's a really talented person in that field. both people and things she creates by drawings seem to be really alive.. people's face expressions are trully mirroring their feelings.. what is more, she can create a touching climax becouse of that. she's my favourite mangaka and I don't think it will change quickly^^ what do you think of her drawings? is there anything you like/dislike about them? I've already said what I like ^^, but there is one drawback I have to list. namely, some of her characteres look simply very similiar at times! I mean not their general look, but their facial expressions. ex. Ren, Nobu(Nana) and Gorge (ParaKiss). |

She's my favourite mangaka because her stories and drawings always feel so real. She really brings out the characters emotions. I also love that her style is so distinct - I always know her work, and I never mistake anyone else's art for hers. |

Beautiful. Just beautiful. The outfits, the style, the fashion of her art is what drew me into her comics. A truly talented mangaka. ^-^ |

I love her artwork, she has a very distinct style, and I love how she incorporates so much fashion into a lot of her drawings. It's funny though, as much as I love it, I never liked the covers for the volumes of Nana... whoa there nelly! bajiba papiba bajiba........ |

I love how at the end of each chapter she has a small, lighthearted illustration of some related past scene. Seeing a happy scene right after a dramatic cliffhanger with those characters is just... wow. She's so good at making even those pages impactful! |

Yeah, I agree. <3 I have only read NANA and Paradise Kiss, but I haven't finished either of them. I'm on the last volume of ParaKiss and I think volume 9 of NANA. NANA is my favorite though. whoa there nelly! bajiba papiba bajiba........ |

it's not my favorite drawing style (because I spent a lot of time looking at it and judging it) , but I admire how it looks good and elaborated even though is simple , and sometimes it even looks like doodles all around, but one thing I certanly don't like is the pupils of the eyes she draws , they look weird.......and also her bold style....I don't like it much , but it has already influenced me alot @.@ now my drawing style looks like a combination of ai yazawa and tetsuya nomura...... |

They are really original.. Everyone of her characters is very stylish and got a good taste. I love her drawing style more thn anything, especially eyes... I don't know how she's doing it, but they're magical... :3. If I would meet Ai Yazawa personally, I'd kiss her hands... The ones that drew my bible, NANA XD <333 |

yazawa-san's art is probably the very best shojo style art i've ever seen and also among the best manga art in general... also her stories are the most realistic, involving, and emotional i've ever read anywhere! never have i cried, laughed, and felt joy so much all at one time.
