I was expecting an anime from KyoAni soon, but that is disappointing. Their slice of life marathon is starting to get on my nerves. They should start working on a drama, like Little Busters for example. Just saying. |

Doesn't sound very interesting, just another slice-of-life... Megaphy said: I was expecting an anime from KyoAni soon, but that is disappointing. Their slice of life marathon is starting to get on my nerves. They should start working on a drama, like Little Busters for example. Just saying. QFT |

Thank goodness they've released something worth watching lately (That Haruhi movie was just great) otherwise, I may begin losing hope. Especially since I was seriously hoping Little Busters, or even another FMP! was next on the list. |

I agree with everyone else. I am very disappointed. I want Little Busters, Planetarium or Rewrite to get animated, not this stupid anime. |

There's nothing wrong with working on slice of life animes; the problem is that they have chosen a series that's much more pretentious than actually funny. |

I'm pretty happy this is getting an adaption, and I love KyoAni's SoL so I'm definitely in. Anything tagged with Dementia on MAL is bound to be awesome nonetheless. |

Great, I guess D: I'll watch it because of KyoAni. I am truly grateful to them for the K-ON saga, the upcoming movie, the upcoming OVA, etc, so I was quite satisfied on terms of moe, but if they want moahr, well fine D: I hope it's good. Still waiting for Little Busters, though. |

I don't see what's the connection between OreImo and KyoAni? I didn't said I have anything against slice of life, I just think that this kind of anime can't show KyoAni's real potential. They just make wonderful drama, that's what they are best at. You just seem to like to open your mouth in an inappropriate places. |

I agree that KyoAni can make a wonderful drama...I also wonder why nichijou. KyoAni also known for their anime that became very popular like Key's best works, lucky star, haruhi, and K-on! but they choose to continue a slice-of-life anime. I think KyoAni are not dumb to not know the fans demand. hmmmm....maybe they have a reason for this. let's wait for their next project...I wish they make an action or maybe a drama anime next time. but before i wait for their next project...i will watch nichijou! because it's one of the KyoAni's work...i really excited for this!!! |

From my point of view, Kyoani's slice of life anime are their fundraisers. Both Lucky Star and K-on! are great examples of this, where Lucky Star came right before Clannad. It doesn't take a lot of guessing to believe the Lucky Star helped fund Kyoani's work on Clannad. K-on! fueled Suzumiya 2 and the movie. I'm guessing Little Busters comes after Nichijou. |
