| good episode as always. Man that was some great animation quality they had at the end. They made Garp's and Luffy's inner conflict more emotional than compared to the manga. Garp took the hit on purpose because he knew he could never seriously hurt his grandson that he loves. |

| 4/5 on the eppy! I think Luffy running toward Garp/Ace was dragged out too long. But I did love the episode! The end had me grinning like an idiot cuz Ace was freed! |
| Great episode. I'm glad to see Garp wanting to save his grandchildren and didn't follow the strict "I have to do my duty" routine. The Boa Hancock part was funny and the ending was epic with Ace using his powers. I can't wait till next week. I don't understand what's up with manga readers wanting to ruin the anime experience for others. Yeah, you guys didn't spoil anything this time but dropping hints is unnecessary. |

| wow it's been awhile where i would feel the epicness of one piece. the flashbacks were funny and touching but ace finally breaking out in his awesome fire, just delivered the awesomeness that i yearned for so long |

| FINALLY!! Wow i felt awesome when Ace was free. I was unsure when the cannons hit, but when i heard them say "that should have killed them", i knew; There all about to get incinerated. 6/5, freaking awesome. |

| There will be a lot of FINALLY posts on this thread and heres another one....finally!!!! what an amazing episode, bought tears to my eyes, garp and luffy's flashbacks were funny, cute and touching, ace lecturing luffy was classic and just everything about that pisode reeked of awesomeness. |

| Luffy finally made it to the scaffold after getting past Garp. Mr.3 makes a key and finally Ace is set free :o I liked the flashbacks, some of the scenery was very colourful. Hancock was looking down at some people again :P |

| Great episode. I liked the flashbacks with Garp and Luffy. So Sengoku is a giant budha. I always wondered what powers he had, but it didn't looked so great. Mr. 3 did something good and saved Ace unlike Buggy. Boa was so funny when she said that Garp is her grandfather. Finally Ace is free. Now we can see the duo in action. |

| Anime-only watchers should now stay away from this forum until the current arc ends. Otherwise the epic-ness of the conclusion of this arc is going to haunt you for life. I'm surprised Ace got freed in this episode, Luffy covered so much distance in this episode AND freed Ace, all in a few minutes. The flames bursting out, god, it seemed forever since Ace's flames were last animated. Now they just need to free Marco, and the whole arena can start the fire heat brawl now. :D |
