So after the 6 main-heroine-arcs are completed, why don't we start a poll? which one was your favorite arc?

Mine are:

1. Nanasaki, Ai (far the best arc, really liked the onsen Ending <3)
2. Morishima, Haruka (liked the atmosphere and Itou Shizuka, bondage-play hrrr)
3. Ayatsuji, Tsukasa ( Not really into the arc, but still one of the better ones)
4. Tanamachi, Kaoru ( her arc were the most realistic imo and also touching, just don't really like the character i think =P)
5. Nakata, Sae ( No real reason, just better than Rihocchi)
6. Sakurai, Rihoko (weakest of all arcs and the ED was horrible xO)

So which are your favorite character arcs? =)

I would put Ai first, but I love Ayatsuji's personality.

Personally I like Nanasaki Ai's character the most, but her story was average. Ayatsuji ep24 was kind of weak too.

I can't imagine anyone ranking Rihiko and Sae at top :P

It's a shame that Rihoko's arc sucked since she's my favourite out of the girls.

Wah, it's kinda hard to decide, but I'll have to go with:

Ai was just pure love all the way through, so I just had to put her arc as number 1.
Tsukasa and Haruka were both awesome as well, but I can't bring myself to place one of them below the other, so... a tie. I must say that Tsukasa's arc had the best ending of the lot, though.
I really liked Kaoru, but for some reason, I felt the arc wasn't as good as the top 3. Close, though.
Rihoko was a cute character, but the arc was a bit frustrating. Maybe the most realistic one, but frustrating for a show like this.
Sae... well, I never really warmed up to her. I didn't think her voice was all that great, so that might have had something to do with it, but overall I didn't think the arc was all that exciting.

That said, I didn't think any of the arcs were BAD. Overall best series I've seen in a while :3

Couldn't decide which arc was best for me: Tsukasa or Ai! Their arcs are just full of love and some drama!
Kaoru's and Haruka's arc were tied, in my opinion. I just liked the ending for Haruka's arc better than Kaoru's.
Rihoko's was cute, too. The only thing I hate about it was that they just left the both of them as friends! GRRR!!! I liked the ED song, though.
Sae's was just... eh. I didn't like it as much, and it was kinda weird how Sae followed mostly everything that Junichi said, like dressing up in different outfits being timed AND in the same room as Junichi. So weird... That hot bath scene was also weird as well.

1. Ayatsuji ~ Was glad they gave her her true personality. It was hidden very well with the other arcs when you would see her.
2. Sae ~ LOVED her arc! The comedy fun arc. A lot of people didn't like her voice which I thought was a shame. =[
3. Haruka ~ Do I need to say anything? xD
4. Karou ~ Love how playful she is. lol
5. Rihoko ~ I like how she tells the story and how her ending differs from the rest. Funny character too.
6. Ai ~ Eh... Was just a whatever story to me. Just wanted to get to the next ark while watching her's. Loved her ending song though.

same for me, I love tsukasa's arc the most and sae was really cute to watch

My rankings:

#1: Ai and Tsukasa: Definitely my two favorite arcs. I would have enjoyed watching a series of either character, and it's a shame they went with only four episodes with these two stories. I was about to drop this series at one point, but Ai was really engaging and fun to watch, so I kept going. Tsukasa would have been ranked higher, but ep. 24 mostly dragged and didn't provide a satisfactory ending for me. While it was nice when she stopped holding back her true self, this episode really epitomized the weaknesses of the omnibus format: Not even the 'best' arc worked in the end. If this was a longer series, I wouldn't have minded the reversion back to her fake happy side for an episode or two, since they could have given more substance to the story. There just didn't seem to be much conflict while she was like that here. Just a lot Junichi moping around and feeling depressed. "Want to hang out, Junichi?" "No, I don't really feel like hanging out with you." "Okay, let's watch this festival from a different perspective for the sixth time."

#2: Morishima Haruka: If I didn't enjoy the first arc, I probably wouldn't have kept watching the series. Ep. 3 was when it started to get entertaining, and overall I enjoyed it.

#3: Tanamachi Kaoru: I remember mostly enjoying this one, but the story just didn't gel with me at times.

#7: Nakata Sae: Yes, I skipped a few numbers, just to show how much the enjoyment dropped off for these last two arcs. There were a few laughs, but I very much disliked this arc.

#10: Sakurai Rihiko: Ugh. I hated everything about this arc.

So overall, it was a fine/average series, though I'm being very forgiving considering how much I disliked two of the arcs. Amagami SS according my ranking of each arc: 7+7+6+5+3+2=30/6=5.0

I imagine I'll enjoy the one-hour bonus episode (hopefully it surpasses my expectations), so a 6 for the series seems fine. The problems I had were ones I expected to have, since I'm sure it's just a means to an end: "Please buy our DVDs, games, or whatever to get more of the characters you like!" Definitely better than I expected it would be, at least.

edit: And wow, these forums are so screwy...

As expected, Ai and Tsukasa are quite popular. Well, here's my take:

#1 Tsukasa: I really liked how Tsukasa and Junichi developed in this arc. Particularly about Junichi's background with the Christmas 2 years ago is slightly more integrated here than the others. The main conflict in this arc was the most interesting one. Really enjoyed the conflict between Tsukasa's mask and real personality. Arc gets bonus points for giving us some details on Umehara and the 10 years later epilogue.

#2 Rihoko: I found this to be the most natural arc. Pacing and development was most fitting for Rihoko. I can understand how others did not like this one especially how the others turned out. Her monologue in the first episode about her love being one-sided still sticks in my mind and makes the, what seems like a friend-zoned ending, bittersweet.

#3 Kaoru: What I like about this arc is the situation that they are in. Good friends that aren't satisfied with their current relationship. How they handled it wasn't perfect (particularly how Kaoru's problem with her mother seemed pointless and was used more as a plot device rather than help develop Kaoru), but it was still satisfying. Her aggressive personality really shined here. I like how she already decided that they were already going on a date for Christmas before Junichi even asked her.

#4 Ai: As much as I like Ai, I though her arc was only decent. It lacked consistency imo. There were really good scenes here and there but also weird ones as well. But I must say that I did enjoy the chemistry between the two and that's what really made Ai shine. Also her ED song was my favorite.

#5 Haruka: It wasn't that this arc was bad, but rather the ones above were just better. It was an interesting choice to start off with this arc. It was so weird. Befitting direction if you consider Haruka's personality lol. The shed scene was probably one of the most awkward/funny scenes I have ever come across.

#6 Sae: I did not like the direction of this arc. Particularly the insertion of a narrator. I like Sae, but I found the first 3 episodes to be pretty lame. Only redeeming point in my mind was the couple contest in the last episode. Great scene, and Sae in that black dress afterwards was <3.

Overall, I really enjoyed this series and like the omnibus format (albeit with mixed results). Here is how I would rank the girls alone:

#1 Rihoko: Love her voice, Shitani Ryoko did a great job.
#2 Tsukasa: I can't get enough of her real personality.
#3 Haruka: You could say I enjoyed her more when she appeared in the other arcs lol.
#4 Kaoru: I like girls like Kaoru. Plus she has the sexiest hair among the 6 :>
#5 Ai: In most other dating sims, she'd be at the top. Amagami sports one of the best heroine cast for a dating sim imo.
#6 Sae: I have no problems with her voice, she is just a bit boring.

Sucks that Rihoko was the worst because she was the one I was actually looking forward to the most.

1. Sakurai, Rihoko - She is realy cute and what is more, she is realy kind, my type of girl
2. Morishima, Haruka - hilarious girl, very honest
3. Tanamachi, Kaoru - simply cool
4. Ayatsuji, Tsukasa - I didn't like her "alterego", but in the end she was fine.
5. Nanasaki, Ai - she was too emotionless for me
6. Nakata, Sae - I love moe, but Sae-chan...
