Shingeki no Kyojin did extremely well this week with sales, but besides that nothing too interesting besides sword art online appearing in first for the light novels sales.

And you've read / watched OP to gain a decent opinion of it?
I think they're losing their taste though whatever taste they have, moe loving weirdos, KHR, Bleach and DGM in the top 5 is actually appalling.

Though it's nice to see gintama selling nicely, and the list reminded me I have to give sket dance another chance in the future.

No One Piece...? That's quite surprising. (Probably no new volume to sell~_~)

Let's see what in this list would be restricted by the new laws.

Vampire Knight - Incest.

Kure-nai - lolicon, assuming that Shinkuro and Muraskai have a more clear-cut romance than they do in the anime.

Break Blade - Cleo Sabraf, just Cleo Sabraf. Bear in mind that she's supposed to be TWELVE.

Those are pretty much certain. They might be others as well, but I'm sure that restricting Vampire Knight alone would be enough to cause an outcry, let alone the other two.

Oh, and all three are aimed at an under-18 audiences (Break Blade and Kure-nai are shounen, Vampire Knight is shoujo).

The "siblings" aren't blood-related, eh? Well, it's not like I'm going to read a manga like that (or watch the anime) to find out for myself, so excuse me for my mistake.

So you don't even read it and all of a sudden it's a part of your "it's going to be banned, like everything else!11!!" list.
As soon as all these mangas are banned or extensively altered I'll eat my words, until then, you bill ragers should just calm down.

I'm a bit concerned, but I'm not a rager. I'm taking a wait-and-see attitude towards this, hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

I may have been off the mark with Vampire Knight, but I know Kure-nai a bit better. Even though the anime wasn't an outright romance, Murasaki did talk to Shinkuro as if she wanted him to be her husband one day. There are major differences in the manga, though, so this may not be the case there.

As for Break Blade, it doesn't take an avid reader to figure out that Cleo has massive breasts for her age (they are fairly large even by fully grown adult standards) and that she doesn't need such big breasts to look like an older teenager.

I guess that large breasts alone aren't really enough to warrant a ban without some sort of fanservice to go with it (or at least I hope not anyway), and that's something that only Break Blade readers will know about. The promo art for the anime was a bit fanservice-heavy, though, and yes, it did feature Cleo and her breasts. Look it up on Gelbooru if you want.

So yeah, maybe I was overreacting without knowing more, so we shall see when the time comes.
