I must say that even if there was virtually no development in this episode, the dialogue was amazing! It was a highly enjoyable episode, before I noticed it, it was already over! That is a sign of something very-well directed.

Yeah, the romance between them is feeling so well!



This is one of the best parts of this anime - they're actually talking with each other but in a way, like they're playing a game. Game where let's say you'd talk with someone else and then you'll be the players. What are you playing with are the words and the point is to speak in adroit way, or else you'd lose easily to your opponent who'd not make your mistake and will shut you down easily with his speech. I love this game. You might meet up with it in some other anime or books :P

I'm having a hard time enjoying the romance. Holo has the appearance of a girl only 15 years old, and then there's the whole wolf issue. I can't really imagine Holo loving Lawrence or the other way around other than completely platonically.

Horo is smart. You always have to try lowering the price! ALWAYS.

This is the perfect show for an asian like myself.

Lawrence was clearly showing off for Holo -- the clothing scheme was probably more trouble than it was worth, depending on what the baseline price for the bolero and cap would've been for a typical customer. The shopkeeper starts with ten coins, so we can assume the baseline for a typical customer would've been higher than that -- let's say eleven. At that price, Lawrence would've saved three coins by knocking the price down to eight coins (not taking into consideration Holo knocking the price down to seven coins with her own "method"). Assuming Lawrence loses one coin on the winter clothing, like he said, in all he only would've made a profit of two coins. Then again, Lawrence said the store lost a "substantial" amount on the bolero and cap, so the baseline might've been much higher than eleven coins. Either way I think he was showing off ^_^

Such a happy episode, it made my heart happy when Holo was in her clothes. So cuuute.

I like how she chided him about it earlier, and also his cluelessness. Haha, this is great. Just makes you go to bed with a smile.

How interesting of a tactic. I still don't know exactly how effective it was, but it sure was pretty cool I guess XD.

Quite a lovely episode it wasn't really much to do with the total plot but it was sweet and nice either way!

Let's see what's next :D

Best episode yet even though it has nothing to do with the story.

The ending was so adorable I almost died.

I love it when a simple joke or theme is returned to throughout the episode - in this case Holo getting tired of the apples and Lawrence bringing up apple pie. The end scene was just perfect with them referring to themselves as apples/being baked/eaten. Simplicity is key and this anime is doing it well!

Is Lawrence saying that they'll receive a profit overall because of Horo's clothes, yet they'll lose a coin when he re-sells his clothes?
