THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Fucking awesome episodes. Episode 21 - Nice... it seems that before everything started... there was another human race which Garterbelt was born in. Episode 22 - Awesome, especailly the ending. I was sooooo ready to enjoy the closing theme Fallen Angels but i was shocked :O No credits sequence OH MY GOD! ZETSUBOUSHITA! Honestly... i was like "EH?!?!?! WHERE'S THE SONG?!" But great episodes enjoyed them real nice, they really want to leave earth and go back don't they... hm... maybe we're seeing clues as to what the ending will be... but i remember someone mentioning one track from the OST named "Corset Theme" and he/she interpreted it as some kind of spoiler... so i started wondering... Corset? Wow... Recently i found out about the Gainax Ending... i hope PSG doesn't fall victim to Gainax Ending... or else i'm gonna be depressed just like i was with TTGL D: I want a happy ending... but i doubt that's gonna happen... i bet Gainax is gonna go full-on crazy with the finale. Awesome? Not really... One of the worst eps so far I think... The only good thing is that we now know more about Garterbelt... |

Just watched this. I don't think it was as good as some of the other episodes, but it was alright. The second half was especially below average for Panty and Stocking. I just hope they never make a Slice of Life spinoff. Mod Edit: Topics merged. Modified by kuroshiroi, 12-16-10, 10:04 PM |

First half was one of the better episodes of the show, incredibly awesome song to go with all that crazy Garterbelt past stuff. The second half was one of the funniest episodes they produced but also gave insight on how much Panty and Stocking really care about going back to heaven. This looks to be setting up the finale, and I can't wait to see it all unfold. |

I think this was the best episode so far, yes, even better than 6. But I can see why people might not like it. The second part especially, it was genius. I have never seen a better slice of life scene yet, this was so good, so real, so well-made, I am stunned by the quality of this episode. The smalltalk between Panty & Stocking was real well thought out, the Panty playing with the cat scene was very nice, Brief joining them was the greatest thing in the episode, probably because I can relate so damn well with him, being at another place and trying to say something or to contribute to the conversation with a small detail or whatever no one gives a shit about, the disapproved faces of P&S were nice and of course, the blushing scene was cute. |

Got me curious. The most obvious thing that springs to mind would be 'green B = Brief?' But that raises the question of what he has to do with everything. Anyway, really liked the first half, got a little bored in the second. Fun stuff, as always. If any of my posts seem odd, it's probably because I'm tired. Sorry. I have sleeping issues. |

I'm sure a lot of people will dislike the second half.. but I think it's a true essence of a slice-of-life definitely. It was awesome! Also likes learning about Garterbelt, I have a feeling that 'B' had to do with that one silhouetted guy who punished the Demon Sisters. |

The second half of this week's episode was great. I love the fact that this show can pull off such a variety of contrasting styles in its presentation yet retain its central identity. Bravo I say!      |

The first half was absolutely great, loved the 'evolution' of Garterbelt throughout history. Second half was bit less entertaining but still enjoyable. Ara ara. |

Man, this series is so ballsy. It does whatever it wants to, and there's no way for us viewers to know what's up next. I really loved the second part. Especially all those awesome Chuck moments! |

Some people won't like the second half of this episode, but I thought it was great. I've only ever seen something like that in Gintama and those episodes don't even have animation. This had so much happening in a small room that it became enjoyable. Garter's history was pretty interesting on the animation front too. "I must not let them see me in this BDSM, I mean this sacred ritual" :D  |

Panty & Stocking have never been as real as they were in the second half. I wasn't expecting Gainax to pull something like this, but it really worked.  |

i watched the second half about 3 times now and fuck, i'm still not tired of it. god, i love the over-kill on the english swearing. "fuck this guy fuck that guy fuck those guy fuck fuck fuck fuck" this episode single handedly beat the crap out of that slice of life anime they call lucky star, and the background never even changed. i like how they reminded us about them going back to heaven and their actual desires. i kinda forgot that the heaven coins were there so that they can go back to heaven. and yeah, i can already tell the ending of this show will not dissapoint. |
