Has anyone here read the novels? Questions if so

Was wondering if anyone here had actually read the legendary heroes novels. If so I was wondering if you could say how faithful an adaptation the anime has been so far and was wondering about how much of the books the show had covered/looks like it's going to cover in the last 4 eps... like is it looking to have an anime only ending with no season 2 or what?
