| Welcome! This is the eight Tsundere or Not, a series of interactive threads where all club members are invited to evaluate our favorite tsundere characters. In every thread, you decide the character's level of tsundere-ness and give them a score in the poll rating meter. In scale of 1 to 5, rate them according to what you’ve learned in the anime, manga, novel, etc. Prior to voting please understand the meaning of tsundere. As you know, the term became broader over time and used more arbitrarily by fans on the internet. There are various qualities and characteristics that define a character to be recognized as one, and some of those are listed in this thread. The simple definition of tsundere is available on our club page but you can read further at the Wikipedia entry. If you don't recognize the character presented, do say so or simply skip the thread. Mai is more of a "mysterious girl" type. And she never scolded anyone! Makoto was much more a tsundere than Mai, if you ask me. |

| I was also about to rate her 4 or 5 but after reading some of these comments I guess you guys have a point. Sure Mai is combative, but she doesn't portray that in the way a tsundere usually does it (aggressive the guy she likes). She has a caring, loving side to her but only shows it towards the end of her arc. So yeah, she deserves a 2. ^_^ |
