| According to the tweet by anime director Kamiya Jun, anime director Iida Umanosuke passed away after a long struggle against an illness. He was 49 years old. | He did some fantastic storyboard work, that's for sure. He was a good director, too. Only thing that drug some of his projects like Hellsing down was simply sloppy writing. R.I.P. |

| Aw man....was so young too. Only 49, thats as old as my mom! I sympathise with his family and work mates. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. It is sad to see yet another brilliant human being go. |
