| Awesome episode, they're steadily improving but the artwork is not as good as it should be. But learning how to draw is way harder than learning how to 'make' a story, so it makes sense. RevM said: That was a very satisfying punch Indeed, it felt great that the bitch got a lesson. |

| This episode did everything right. They didn't win it all right away so now they have to continue trying and not just feel like they're the next best thing. The unnecessary drama at the end was giving me worries thinking Shuujin was going to go on this whole emo trip thinking he's better than the MC but he shot that shit down so fast and defended Moritaka. I hope this doesn't plant the seed in his head though and give us this "I'm better than you" crap because this anime is better than that, at least I hope it is. |

| Akito is a writing machine. "Oh, you don't like those story concepts? Here's twenty more!" It seems like there's a trend in Moritaka and Akito's writing for more mature stories than you'd expect from shonen. Or maybe recent shonen I can think of have just been really bland in terms of their themes. I keep expecting their editor to say "This is shit." at some point, but he really enjoyed this manuscript too. I swear I've seen him saying "This is shit." like a meme or reaction somewhere. Probably occurs later on... "Your midterms are coming up soon, what're you doing?" B I T C H. Every time I swear I don't know why she pisses me off so much "For a time like this I'm thinking...Dragon Ball." God, Akito's such a casual. They've got a huge library of manga to use for their research, likely from every era in every genre imaginable, and he goes for Dragon Ball every single time. Who the fuck is this ugly-ass Ishiwaza boy coming and talking shit looking like fucking Wario and Peach's failed abortion? Akito punching him was awesome. |

| The show so far has really been something else. It had been sitting in my PTW list for quite some time, but I finally got around to starting it and I couldn't be any happier. Knowing that there are two more seasons after this is just amazing as well. If it can keep up this level of quality for the rest of the series, I could see this becoming one of my all time favorites. |

| That Takagi punch at the end was fucking intense and brutal, nearly sent the guy crashing to the window after he insulted Mashiro's art lol. I could imagine real mangaka or fans of manga that I hate sending me flying like that after I berate it, given my slightly critical ratings in general I have to admit. At least they've made progress when it comes to being mangaka with this 2nd project with a ton of improvements as a whole, although it is true that Mashiro does still have a lot of work to do to make his art more appealing to the shounen manga demographic. But I also have to say, while both story and art are equally important for the success of a manga, the art's definitely more difficult, especially for people new to the entire game of creating manga. But once he gets the hang of it, he should be able to consistently deliver in illustrations no matter what, at least progress was definitely made. |
