It's like how people don't recognize Superman when he takes off his glasses. It also has to do with how Clark Kent and Superman act differently. Tsukimi acted differently from what (little) he knows of her and changed her appearance. It's not very believable, since everyone outside of the comic book can tell that they're the same person, but within the story...

I don't really get why everyone is calling Shuu a jerk. It's not like he was rude to her. Tsukimi mumbled something along the words of 'hi' and he acknowledged that. Who here in real life would actually make friendly conversation with some sketch looking person they don't know? Some people might if they're extroverted, but Shuu seems to be a very restrained introvert.

Loved his line "To do battle, you have to dress for battle."

Ok i totally love this show but this eps also made me a little sad like why is Shu being so shallow and why is he so out of it! And that preview my gosh Shu looks go without his glasses but come on he should be able to see thru that evil woman's schemes! *sigh* oh well until next eps!

Kuragehime - 05: a challenger appears

The thing is, the episode didn't show Shu's evilness, but his nature. He likes Tsukimi primarily because of his appearance and has to learn to appearances are only half of the picture. While the episode shows what he needs to change, it also showed a good side of Kuranosuke: he's accepted Tsukimi for who she really is, even with just her normal self, and wants her to change for the better. And he's got a point: if you want to be heard, make yourself visible and audible to be.

Inari's quite the stunner, but I don't think of her as a villain. She will be a catalyst in the progression of the series, however. I'd like to see the Amars slowly adjust to society and become more normal, but I want to see how Inari will affect the relationship among Shu, Tsukimi, and Kura.

I think she'll redeem herself as the show goes on and from the OP I frankly think she will sincerely fall in love with one of the two men, complicating things further. :)

PS. I don't think Shu will lose his virginity because he truly likes that Tsukimi, and I think he's too honorable to do it. BUT - we'll see.

Not really happy with the Amars having to change their appearance in order to be heard, but if it helps save their apartment complex then I will deal with it.

I don't get all the Shuu hate, he hasn't done anything wrong this episode (other than ignoring Tsukimi, but we've already established he can't recognise her) and I doubt he will in the future. I don't watch previews but whatever you saw I'm guessing it's a troll.

Totally agreed. 11 episodes it just too short for a good show. If Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai can have a 2nd season so can this.

Kuranosuke❤. He is just too fabulous. Meshing well with any sort of people. Caring about strangers(NEETS) is just too overwhelmingly attractive.

Shuu... has definitely lost some points. I mean, how can you be THAT dense? She was even wearing THE SAME GLASSES! I thought he was okay at first because he made me laugh, but now... eh.

Sitll totally shipping Kuranosuke x Tsukimi. Kuranosuke accepts all of her and I love him for that.

The makeovers. I really can't wait to see them all made up! "Afro sealed!" xD

Why? Why must these episodes feel so short? This anime will be over before I know it and I'll be sad.

I think that the the show will end with the saving of Amamizu-kan, but I believe there will be a second season especially because of the unfinished manga. Can anyone confirm that the manga is nearing its end?

Damn no matter what, i still like Shuu, he has such a sexy voice, and besides all that, i believe he will change his cold attitude when he realizes that inner beauty is the most important thing XD

Wah, this episode felt EXTREMELY short, for some reason. I cannot wait for the next episode, and I seriously hope that Shuu doesn't fall for that demon's charms.

After watching this episode I tried my best not to judge Shuu because we still don't know how he will react to Tsukimi's ugly version.
P.S totally stopped judging him after watching next episodes preview ;D
