Eclair "Lightning" Farron (FFXIII) - EXMode: Equipped Omega Weapon - EXBurst: Gestalt Mode
Vaan (FFXII) - EXMode: Unknown - EXBurst: Quickenings - Red Spiral, White Whorl, Pyroclasm
Basch (FFXII) - As an alternate costume for Gabranth. Same moveset. (It is still Gabranth, and lacks Basch's signature mark/scar, but hey, he uses Basch's quickenings)

Severe changes to Firion's (FFII) moveset.

Every character has at least one new alt. costume. Examples:
Cloud Strife (FFVII) - Kingdom Hearts attire
Eclair "Lightning" Farron (FFXIII) - Aya Brea costume

Gameplay Additions:

EXRevenge - Blocks the opponent's attack, but consumes the entire EX Gauge without allowing activation of EXMode. Going to EXMode no longer defends from HP attacks.

Assist - Represented by two bars underneath the HP gauges. The bars fill during battle and can be used to call a pre-set ally into battle to perform an attack, depending on how many bars are filled. This allows new combos to be executed by combining the skills of different characters. Assist attacks break enemy combos

More than 9.999 HP possible.
