According to David Williams from Sentai Filmworks, his company will release the Clannad Movie. The release is planned for March and will include English and Japanese dubbing and English subtitles. Additionally, he said that the previously acquired by Sentai Clannad: After Story will receive English dubbing in April. The movie cannot be compared to TV series. It's too hasted and lacks any character development. Not worth watching. |

unless the both of them have a quality dub (unlike the first clannad) and subtitles that aren't amateurish. NO. FUCKING. THANKS. i might buy it only because i love after story more than the prequel imo. i just hope the dub is a step up from the first season but i kinda doubt it. Why would they license the movie? I got bored halfway through and deleted it, which seems to be a common trend...dunno how 130+ hours of gameplay could be put into a movie anyways. But then again DEEN did 30 hours of gameplay in an hour and a half and everyone knows how well that turned out... Also, Blu-Rays for After Story when? It's been almost a year since the original Clannad was released on them..it's about time they do After Story and milk that cash cow some more.  |
