I too had hoped on something a little better, but still, it was pretty interesting. Since it's the same mangaka, it's not weird, but Goku and the boy is really similar ^^. |

I loved it, and I agree that it could have been better... but it was only a oneshot. If the mangaka serializes it, i'm sure (...okay maybe not completely sure...) the mangaka will be able to improve the action scenes and other stuff. though the fight between Quina and Kintoki was better than the first one. I guess it can't be helped that the first fight wasn't as exciting as it only lasted one second. =p |

It was cool. Not exceptional but interesting and slightly humourous. I'd read it if it were serialized. First time reading anything from Toriyama. |

It was very good, very Dragon Ball reminiscent, main character laid back and slow, but powerful and cool, a great shounen main unlike some nowadays............. Annoying villains who learn their place immediately so all in all I was very pleased. Still the ending, the trio went on an adventure to find more Auromuculi makes you wonder about a continuation. |

hmm it was alright, nothing overly special about it, other than maybe the nostalgic feel of reading dragon ball. |

I really liked it, sure it felt alot like dragonball, but thats a good thing, because it felt like dragonball, not dbz. the good ol' days. I really lol'd at the sudden marriage proposal. That aside, as a Gintama reader I find the name Kintoki a humurous choice, lol. |

Apparently i overhyped akira toriyama on this one haha If your going to complain that Yu-Gi-Oh! Mangas are on the top NY times manga best sellers, you must not realize how popular Card games are(as well as the fact that you get a free card). |

Probably going to get a bit of hate here, but, err, I wasn't expecting much from this one-shot. Disregarding the fact that I think Toriyama's success is largely dependant on the nostalgia, I still think the first volumes of Dragon Ball were really enjoyable. But still, the pacing was kinda slow, so you can't expect much going in only 30 pages. Well, it was decent, I guess. And why does everyone keeps talking about serialization ? I thought this was just some kind of "special event". I doubt Toriyama wants to get into another long-run manga again, and as for the authors of Naruto and Gintama, I doubt they'll be finished with their work anytime soon. |

Typically Toriyama. I don't know what people were expecting, because this is exactly the limits of Toriyama's abilities as an artist and writer. Dragon Ball is overhyped to no end, stop viewing it with your rose-tinted nostalgia glasses already. Also, what the hell was Dr Gero and Nappa's face doing in it? ;P |

It was a bit too short, but I liked it. I wasn't expecting much, specially because I don't like Dragon Ball that much, so I gues it was better than what I thought. The main character was somewhat too innocent, much like Goku, but he seemed to be a little smarter than him. I also didn't like the action scenes that much and it seemed a little too fast, but since we're talking about a 30 pages one-shot, I guess it's "okay"... But I found the main objective of Toki interesting. Looking for more Auromoculi, specially one to marry is pretty different from what I've seen in shounen around. I also don't think Toriyama would serialize this, but depending on the development (and in some fixes) it could turn out pretty interesting. |

It did remind me of the beginnings of DB, and I did like the nostalgia. It was humors, but I did expect better. BTW, a trio? Weren't there 4 people in that page? |

A let down but it can be better if it is serialized. And the ages should be cut down a little, kinda lame to see 18+ people having dwarf like sizes The Yorozuya without Shinpachi is like Shinpachi without Glasses |
