The doc and Natsuno better start whooping some shiki butt.

Everyone in the village would likely just react the same way Seishin did. Worst case scenario they'd crucify Toshio for what he did.

I think Seishin sees the Shiki (like that one girl who visits him) as creatures with a life force. He is a monk, after all, so it's kind of hard for him to accept the way Toshio is handling things. I can understand both Toshio's and Seishin's point of view, but I think I agree with Toshio more. Sucks for Toshio that his best friend just turned his back on him, though. It's a good thing Natsuno showed up and said, "You're not alone" at the end there, because the doctor looked really disappointed, like he was at the end of his rope.

Great episode! Not quite as "OMG!" like the last one, of course, but this seems like it's a good bridge for the next episode - especially with the appearance of Natsuno at the end. :)

I can't believe I have to wait a whole week...

I don't like to wait the week either, but oh well it just means we are enjoying it!

And what, Lady Gaga has some kind of office at the health building! and it must be super casual dress week ^_^ And I guess we know why catboy said that the doctor was off limits-she wants him for dinner.

Great to see Natsuno, and I am glad the doctor is fired up.

He was wearing that when he was in the tree behind Tohru too, made him more visible.
No doubt he had to grab some clothes quickly.

i just love Natsuno~~ no matter how much people complain about his new clothes, i think it suits him the best, its a unique style. Not every vampire must wear black coats or gothic stuff. He looks like what he is: a teenage vampire. Personally i love his clothes. And i love him*.* i missed him!

and the monk, still useless as always (no offense intended)

Well, I'm a little dissapointed that the pick up from where they ended last week wasn't as grand as I wanted it to be. However, I understand the little ''break'' they took this week. But, it looks like we may be picking up the pace once again next week! Natsuna doesn't have red eyes like the rest cause he's special (^.^) I guess? Looking forward to the next!

Seishin being a goody goody pisses me off a little bit though I do support him being pissed at the doc (i.e if he is keeping in mind that even Shiki feels pain).

That's troubling me too. Why didn't any of the Shikis realize Natsuno's rise?

And didn't they say that Natsuno was moved to a big city to be buried or whatever? Maybe he rose before they could cremate him (or did the guy just say that to make Megumi upset?)?

c´mon people, ofc Natsuno is a shiki.
How could a human being disappear from a super high tree in a blink of an eye without even making noise? Tohru couldn't even see him because he was too damn fast.
Also, he is different somehow. He doesn't have to have sparkling red eyes to be a shiki. Tatsumi has normal eyes and he is a shiki too.
the shiki dont know about him because they obviously think he was cremated.

What Tatsumi is was actually answered in this episode, by the funeral's host.
おお～。さすがは人狼。鼻がきくな。

But for some inexplicable reason Funimation decided to just romanize 人狼 as jinrô.

I haven't read the manga or I don't know anything...but I suspect that it as quite suspicious as to why he looks slightylike himself when he was alive.
1) Natsuno's eyes aren't normal, they have lost the "life" in them (duller, etc.), but they aren't quite like the eyes of a shiki's. He's definitely not alive, though.
2) He's a tad pale, but wasn't he always?

Already, I know for a fact that whatever Natsuno-kun is, he's going to rebel against shiki, therefore it would make it a little complicated with him being a shiki right? That's when I start thinking about the other possibilities as to what he can become.
He's come back to life, but he's not a shiki...then what is he?
What can he possibly be? Then that's were I suspect that he might be...a werewolf..since cat ear guy is one..and he's an "ally" with the shiki..but they never mentioned if someone bitten by a shiki could even have a possibility of turning into a werewolf..are the chances perhaps...low?

On a side note, I must admit, that his outfit is very awkward..
Fluffy, random, checkered coat..with black shorts..pink tights (I think..o__O)
& pink and black gym shoes.

Someone tell me that he's really out of style.

I almost died when Natsuno appeared in the beginning and had a super huge fangirl attack at the end. KYAAAA so awesome!! Can't wait for the next ep!! :D

Great episode, though it pales in comparison with the previous. We can't always have episodes like those everytime I guess. Still good nonetheless.
Chizuru's outfit was to die for, but that maid nurse could kill somebody xD.
Maybe Toshio didn't show the tape yet because he wanted to get someone who really believes in the shiki. Showing them the tapes when they're not yet fully convinced may drive them away and he may be arrested for the contents of the tape.
Though he has a partner now, in the form of Natsuno O.o Didn't expect him to show up to Toshio. Let's see what they'll do next.


Oh and that funeral was so fabulous xD
