^Lol, you actually solved it xD Gotta take note of Ika's formula. Might help me in my subjects xD Lol, Tomoya saved Nagisa from drowning. And Sanae is going to make things complicated xD Great episode again. Glad I picked up this show :D Yay, next episode is the return of the girl who wore the fake Ika costume. Been wanting to see her again. Oh and lolscientists. |

BlitzAceSamy said: Of course I can! Who the hell do you think I am? 1. Refer to notes below 2. a^8 x b^7 3. x^2 + 10x + 25 (She helped Eiko solve that last night) 4. 5x^2(1 - 3x) (Or do I have to simplify it further?) 5. 2x^2 + 7x + 3 6. (x + 4)^2 7. (3x+1)(x-1) 8. (x+6)(x-2) The first question cannot be simplified because b^2 - 4ac does not give an answer we can square root and get us an integer. Heck, b^2 - 4ac turns out to be negative, so imaginary roots, so yeah. Feel free to correct me if I make any mistakes. :3 You could simply give the answer..... for the first one..... x = -2 + (2 * root(2))i Modified by twonline, 11-11-10, 8:37 AM |

To be fair it doesn't really state what needs solving in the first place =P. Doesn't say expand the brackets or to simplify or to find x at all so none of them can be solved =P. |

That's the magic of anime. Some people suddenly gains interest at a particular subject just because it was a topic on a certain anime. I think this might be the creators attempt to get kids to like math(though some kids in japan are actually already good at mental speed arithmetic(what ever it was called)). The logo of the anime is after all the re-recycling symbol in the shape of Ika's tentacles. Though was only two episodes where Ika was cleaning the beach. |
