THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, this was an interesting first episode. It looks like there's four main pieces to the puzzle - the citizens, the immigrants, the robots (autoreivs), and the monsters. I was following the story pretty well until the end of the episode where the two things attacked each other in Re-l's place. How they made it sound, I thought there was only one. In any case, I'm hooked! |

I've gotta say, very good first episode. It's really well done, and the animation is spectacular. Also I was happy to hear Radiohead in the ending. |

The first episode is great. The graphics, the animation is very well done. I also like the "meshing" of 2D animation and CG, blends really well. I got the English dub of GeneonUSA and Re-l's English seiyuu's got attitude and spunk to match her character! Btw, I think her virtual notebook with matching virtual post its are a pretty nice touch! wow its only the first ep and its already full of intriguing mysteries, epic short battles, and amazing ways of only making me even more confused by the end of the episode. the animation was very well done i liked it. loved the ending song too. |

Enjoyable episode. Like others not really sure what going on yet. This may be a little too sci-fi for my tastes with the robo-droids, we'll see. Nice end song brought back old memories.  Signature work in progress (when I find the time)... |

The graphics and animation are top notch but the plot seems pretty confusing for now. There's a lack of futuristic anime series set in utopias, the few seem to be films like Ghost In The Shell etc. so I'm looking forward to the rest of this series. Modified by Zell182, 05-01-10, 1:19 PM  |
