Formulas for damage are as follows. They're less complicated than they look. (Crazy parenthesis warning. Mathematically challenged need not read)

Physical damage

Physical damage = ((AD + Bonus damage) Crit modifier) * (((Ar - ArP) %ArP) / (100 + ((Ar - ArP) %ArP)))

What this means is you figure their armor by taking their base armor and then subtracting armor pen and applying % armor pen. You take that number and divide it by 100 + itself. That will give you a value between 0 and 1, which you multiply by your base damage + any modifiers to get the resulting damage to the target.

For example, a target with 100 armor will block 50% of incoming physical damage, assuming the attacker has 0 armor pen.

100 / 100 + 100 = 100 / 200 = 0.5

So you just take your AD and multiply it 0.5. If you have 100 AD, you'll deal 50 damage. Again, assuming there are no modifiers.

Magic damage

Magic damage = (Ability damage + (AP * AP modifier for that ability)) * (((MR - MP) %MP) / (100 + ((MR - MP) %MP)))

This works largely the same as physical damage. Magic resistance is calculated just like armor, but base damage is dependent on the ability's AP modifier. This varies by ability, but tends to be between 0.5 and 1. This number represents how much bonus damage you get per point of AP.

For example, Lux's ult, Finales Funkeln, has an AP modifier of 0.8. This means that for every point of AP she gets, her laser gains 0.8 damage. For 100 AP, that's 80 bonus damage.

Taken from the LoL wiki.

Spell Vamp is a magic stat. The Spell Vamp works as the magic counterpart of Life Steal, but instead of absorbing life from physical attacks, it absorbs life from champion abilities. It works off of activated item effects, summoner spells, and abilities, regardless of the type of damage done. Spell Vamp is calculated from the damage dealt to the enemy (after Magic Resistance).

Spell Vamp automatically works at 33% of the listed rate for area-of-effect (AoE) spells.
For AoE effects, Spell Vamp applies independently to each target, but if at least 3 targets are damaged, the total amount can still be substantial.

The amount of health restored with Spell Vamp follows the following formula:
Health Restored = Total Spell Damage * Spell Vamp * Vamp Coefficient
where
Total Spell Damage is the the mitigated spell damage done to every target affected
Vamp Coefficient is 1 for single target spells and 1/3 for multi-target spells.
Examples Edit
(assuming targets with 0 Magic Resistance)
25% Spell Vamp on a single-target spell that does 100 Damage will return 25 health.
100 * 0.25 == 25
30% Spell Vamp on an AoE spell that does 100 AoE Damage to each of 4 targets will return 40 health.
4 * 100 * 0.30 * (1/3) == 40

tl;dr It's basically the counter part to lifesteal for mages.

I've only come across this AoE stacking team once, it was Amumu, Fiddle, Nunu, Malphite and Kennen. My items were Merc. Treads, QSS, Hexdrinker and a Banshee's, pretty sure I was playing either Corki or Renekton, can't quite remember. This build seemed to work pretty well, I lived most of the team fights while the rest of the my team built completely glass cannon and got melted.

so unless you totally dedicate your build to surviving, theres no way to counter?

Don't stack up and get nuked down, catch them while they're doing stupid shit.
If your teams tank is shit, GG. Tanks not knowing the roll as a tank, are the worst.

Who is the champion who got the biggest range?

Caitlyn has the largest base autoattack range of 650.
Due to Tristana's passive she starts at 550 range but it goes up to 703 at lvl 18

Ashe, Pantheon, Gankplank, Shen, and Twisted Fate have th largest Ult range of Global (although Shen's and TF's ults don't do damage)

You forgot Ezreal, and technically, Karthus too.

.... You Forgot Kog'Maw with W activated....

If I get 3 (the black cleaver) I will reduce the target armor by 45 per hit right?? won't that make a very good damage??

Uhm, yeah? It gives the target a debuff that reduces the targets armor by 15 and that debuff stackes up to 3 times which is 45 Arp which is pretty devastating for most targets, but black cleaver should not be bought on every ad champion.

isn't black cleaver unique? also, i think you can only apply up to 3 stacks on a given target, so i doubt it would work

You don't get the buff if you cancel it while channeling.
