I think they decided to spent lots of money on these things instead of the actual animation. I really hope that the animation gets better... Maybe it's beacuse they wanted anime to look more simmilar to the original game (ok, now it sounds like fiding exuses for them). Hmmmm I like SHAFT very much so mabe I just haven't noticed little movement. |

| That was pure sex. I've been waiting for this anime to come out for soooo long. :D I'm so excited! I'm not disappointed at all. Sure, the animation isn't the BEST ever, but it's not the worst either. I'm pretty happy with what they've done with it so far. I can't wait for next weeks episode! :)) |

| Why are so much people complaining about the animation? I have seen só much "worser" than this :O I like the art style a lot :D But I have a question; how come so there's only 1 episode yet? I mean they've started to air it at sep 23th, right (that's what MAL says)? So why's there only 1 episode? Or am I just looking at the wrong site? -don't think so?- And Shiki (that guy in black witht he sword, I guess he's Shiki since I've read some other comments :P) is kinda cool ^^ But he does look like so much like Hei from Darker than Black! Except those eyes... but am I the only one who thinks that? :P And why is Akira the uke? I kinda hoped that he would be the seme, it's kinda "wrong" to see him as the uke since he's so manly -unlike the most ukes- or am I misunderstanding something now? (I haven't played the game/read the manga) but it seems like AkiraxShiki?... :P Can't wait till next week, I liked the first episode so far and the anime has an interesting plot and nice art :) |
| That was great. I hope they give the main character some backstory throughout the show. Animation was fine, it also didn't help that we haven't gotten a real HD release yet. |

People rate the anime they watched however they want, that includes you, me, and the people who give 10 to an anime with a lot of bishounens. Like I said, we have our individual standards and likings, you prefer to give an anime with a lot of fanservice for guys a 6 or 7, and there are others who prefer to give 10 to an anime with fanservice for girls. It is ultimately the same thing. A masterpiece of 10 to a person might not be masterpiece to another. An anime with a poor rating from a person might receive a farily high rating from another person. Since MAL does see ratings as a significant part of measuring how popular or "good" an anime is, it is inevitable that you are going to encounter ratings from people that you may not totally agree with. Every user has to accept that. Therefore, don't make bad comments when you do see things like that, or you may not enjoy being in this community as much and hurt people for doing things they have the right to do and enjoy to do. Indeed I have such an anime in my mind that comes close to that, and it is Fuyu no Semi/Winter Cicada if you care to know. But the main reason I gave this yaoi anime a 9 is definitely not because the two main characters are gorgeous, in fact that is not a reason at all. I like that anime so much is because of its sorrowful story, the tragic love between two people who lived at a wrong time, unique historical setting, colorful animation, great seiyuus, beautiful music, even the poetic lyrics. Just like the title wants us to realize, a cicada should have been born and lived in the summer, but if it is born in the winter, it can only have a very short life and die soon after birth. Even right now, I feel bitter upon thinking about that anime. The reason I said all these is I want you to know that girls actually do consider a lot of things about a shounen-ai or yaoi anime when giving it a very high rating such as 10 or 9, just like any so-called by you "normal anime". There are only an extremely few yaoi anime that would receive such a score from the vast majority of female fangirls. Please don't make assumptions about a group of people who you don't know as much as you think you do. Just so you know, the word hentai refers to sexually explict or pornographic animation that involves boy x girl action, or hentai can simply mean sexually perverted in general terms. Among fans, yaoi is mostly used to refer to anime or manga that involves boy x boy sexual action. Shounen-ai is mostly used to refer to anime or manga that does not contain boy x boy action at all, but an light and often pure boys love. I suppose you meant yaoi in your comment, for hentai in this case is terminologically incorrect. I do not want to get into the differences between female and male sexual responds. Every human can have orgasms and there is fluid when having orgasms. Please do not extend this topic any further, for you were the one who first brought it up. For not being a girl, please do not so confidently say what kind of reactions girls have when watching yaoi anime because your comment about "being wet and getting multiple orgasms" just further proves that you are a boy indeed. |

| This is quite horrible. I expected a lot of it, maybe even too much. I don't know where to start about how crappy the art is. But maybe I'm just too spoiled with Nitro's art from the games. I was quite captivated by this ep...i didn´t even pause it while watching.And that´s something,because usually i am like..."is it ending already?"...and the 20 minutes feel like forever.Didn´t happen now:) And what is not boring to me get "loved it" in poll:D |

| my expectations were high due to the pv which ... looks nothing like the animation i watched. i thought the opening would be more epic but it was boring nonetheless~ its sort of awkward to watch the whole time me and my friend were poking fun at it and laughing |
