| This is kind of a tangent, but the show is reminding me a little bit of Di Gi Charat, what with the invader-turned-worker and the adding 'degeso' to the end of everything. Ika Musume kind of reminds me of Piyoko. I'm really liking it! |

| I didn't watch it right off the bat because it looked pretty bad. This was actually quite entertaining. Every season needs one of these, good for casual viewing, relaxation, and a few good laughs. Squid girl swatting masquito was funny, as was squid girls assumptions about humanity. The entire bit with her thinking otouto was a squid was priceless. Honestly I felt a bit uncomfortable watching squid girl be milked dry at the cost of her health through intimidation at the end. It was supposed to be funny but sometimes something just strikes you the wrong way. It dehumanized her. Quiet girls who hang out in the background and don't say much and never stop squinting are always ninjas. Negima taught me that and it has served me well. Also I wasn't scared of brock until he opened his eyes. God damn that was hella creepy. I think there's a certain irony in that. |

| Looks alright. Chizuru caught me a little bit off guard this first episode, and then I realized she was voiced by Rie Tanaka, who was in Chobits (Chii) and Hayate no Gotoku (Maria). Interesting... The characters for the most part don't seem very interesting, but the comedy was fairly clever, so I'll give this a shot. |

I laughed pretty damn hard watching this. Who knew a little girl throwing up all over the place and threatening people could be so entertaining? I almost skipped this show. |
