This series may have the worst musical direction I've ever heard. This is an action series, and action series need scoring that enhance feelings of danger and tension, but there isn't a simple piece in Southern Cross' music that accomplishes that. In fact, most of it sounds pretty mellow and carefree. I keep getting reminded of the scene in the first episode where Jeanne is joyriding on her hover-bike in the sun.
