o_o" They skip alot stuff in this episode....and the preview suppose to be in volume2, are they gonna skip 2 cases from volume1 ? Anyway,nice episode. |

Even though the whole mystery element isn't exactly anything unique, the episode itself was pretty decent. The characters are developed relatively well too. Can't say much about animation quality and the soundtrack, but the rest of the episode was relatively well done. I've gotta wait for the sub on this one, I can't follow the plot as well when I started watching ~Requiem for the Phantom~ XD make sense it's a mystery. First impressions are good, frankly looked better than the trailer let on. |

Have any fansub groups decided to pick this up or streaming?? I checked just about every major fansubbing site and so far it hasn't been listed by any (gg, ryuumaru, mazui, utw, coalguys, anbu), and no luck from any streaming sites either :-/ |

Hopefully it'll be subbed. This is propably one of those hidden gems that only a few people pay attention to, so the subs won't be out that fast either.  |

YEY! Waited so much for this to be animated and it didn't disappoint...great art..great voice actors.. good story..and great soundtrack...i'm gonna love this.......P.S....darn Yakumo is so hawt..bishie of the season..:X |

I will continue this one and hopefully it will deliver. not amazing for a first episode (like bakuman or star driver) but could be one of the best anime of this season. ^_^  |

Aaaaw man, I love it!! That opening song is just awesome! Yeaah, they skipped many things in this episode, but I think they will make this out a wonderful anime. We still need to watch the next episodes ;3 I hope they subb it soon, because it deserves it. Probably will be one of my favorites from this season! |

Displaying my trademark willpower when it comes to the debut of Bee Train shows I downloaded the raw. Obviously understanding the plentiful dialogue would be nice but I have to say I was still engaged and enjoyed the episode. The opening song is awesome and the soundtrack seems good. I enjoyed the voice actors, the guy who voices the main character Yakumo is always great. It's too early to say anything definitive, but so far it's better than the trailer and I like it. Only gripe I have right now is none of the supernatural stuff was especially creepy, I was hoping for some dark creepy horror to make up for Shiki's hiatus. Eager for the subs! |

Eh, I wasn't crazy about this first episode. It felt really rushed to me & I felt like I just couldn't really get into it. Still, I'm definitely holding off on any judgement until I see a few more episodes.. The scene where Yakumo tells Ozawa to pay up for his services (and she's like, 'Huh?' and Yakumo is like, 'Are you my friend?' '..No..' 'Are you my lover/sweetheart?' 'No way!' & Yakumo's basically like, 'Yeah, so pay up.') makes me chuckle for some reason.. Poor Gotou having to visit that creepy old guy. His laugh is bad enough, but then his weird collection too? O.o The last 40 or so seconds were probably the most interesting thing to me out of the whole episode--that, with the short preview made me curious to see next week's episode. Even though I'd probably be willing to watch it every week just to hear Yakumo speak. *swoons* XP  ~Heart & Thoughts With Japan~ |
