The manga is cooler in my opinion since all the humorous parts are only in the first volumes of the manga and after that, the next volumes are full of action. The first volumes used to be stand-alones or just for comedy so if you wanna read the manga and start with the action then i suggest you start with chapter 63. as for the anime, it's your choice if you wanna drop it. But the last arc in the anime is pretty cool so expect the action at episode 74+ :] |

It's already ended at 203 so for you to ask this now... a simple search for the title on MAL database would have given you the answer. |

Yeah it's a pretty bad show. It has poor characters, dialogue, and plot development. Not to mention a severly limited, uninteresting battle system where the main character only seems to win because he's the main character and it's written that way. There's really nothing more annoying than a battle where nothing matters until the "final blow"... Although I appreciate that the author tried to write an epic shonen |

Guys he's asking more for your input or advice and opinions on rather or not he should continue. like "bk-201" mentioned. I would say to check out the future arc, its vastly different then the other arcs and the daily life arcs are now complete do you don't have to worry bout those any more. I am at like episode 100 or so and i wouldn't say its the best shonen series ive ever seen, its OK. But the execution of the plot, with the daily life episodes and the character development in my opinion was just really bad. So bad that i almost thought bout dropping it to, But it usually takes me alot to drop a series. So i continued believing that the future arcs would be better and they are for sure. Much more action, more of a central story, as you may of guessed their was very little plot involved in the varia and daily life arcs. The future arc has alot of mysteries and also some rather surprising developments bout tsuna's hertiage. So things are definitively more explained. Currently right now i am pretty hooked, but their are parts of course that are not as great as well. But for the most part, its an enjoyable watch after episode 74+. Just don't expect hitman reborn to live up to popular shonens like one piece and naruto. They are far greater in my opinion. Modified by ArtemisX, 07-27-12, 3:07 AM |

Future arc was good except for the unnecessary recaps and 6 minute recaps at the beginning of every episode. Also the Malone Base raid took forever and sometimes dragged. Other than that the anime is pretty damn fun to watch. "What has two arms, two legs, and is alive? Not your favorite character thats for sure!" |

Yeah im at that part actually right now, they spend quite alot of time in the hideout and training but once the attack operation begins, it gets a bit more interesting. |

Yeah, but the base is I think called Malone. I found the raid to go on for too long, but it did have some nice battles. "What has two arms, two legs, and is alive? But yeah the first 70 something episodes are enough to make someone want to drop the show, the first 20 episodes are just introducing the characters and gags, and nobody is actually serious about fighting until in the future arc. And Tsuna is wishy washy in telling people that he doesn't want to be a mafia boss, saying that he doesn't want to be one, yet letting them call him the 10th and fighting on orders of the vongola boss just really pissed me off, |

I have to say the manga in reborn is alot better, even the daily life arc is and its not censored like it is in the anime. Reborn actually uses real guns insead of having leon transform into a toy guy for the dying will bullet. Anyways i just have to say THANK GOD!! Naito Longshamp is not in the anime, if you though tsuna was annoying lol, you havn't seen nothing yet. Read volume 6 of hitman reborn. No wonder the anime cut that character out and for good riddance. But yeah this anime/manga is yu know, alright, but pretty average, when you compare its simplistic plot and character development to that of one piece or naruto, it doesn't even stack up. [spoiler Though i have admit, the part in the series where reborn just totally destroys his entire vongolo family, hayate, tsuna, yamomoto, rhyoe, and lambo at once was freaken awesome and this is at a point where they have increased dramatically in power and skill "deffinitly Favorited as one my favorite anime moments" even though this series is not my favorite. That guy is really really strong but never shows it until much later. Modified by ArtemisX, 09-06-12, 2:07 AM |
