Omg, Louise is adorable! But you gotta feel sorry for Saito, randomly being summoned to some random place then randomly becoming some random person's random slave @___@
Wow! I wasn't expecting much from this anime, but after watching a few more 'serious' anime recently, this is just what I needed. The dynamic between the two main characters looks like it'll be a blast to watch. Still, as long as I get to see more of Kirche, I'll be very happy indeed... Hm? Did I say that out loud?
Not sure about this one yet, but I guess it's nice 'easy' viewing, which is great because I don't want to do too much thinking at the moment.
Your search on "Oran Solus" returned the following quotes:
"Oran Solus? I know him. What a wanker. He still owes me a tenner." Oscar Wilde
"Oran, you're so intelligent and awesome <3" Bakayaro
"Oran's sexy." LolitaDecay
"Oran is a sophisticated penguin." Drybananna
"Oran is a Hand-Eye you faggots." EddieSpaghetti
"Oran for Prime Minister." the_prime_one
"Oran is all that is stated in his sig and more." orbitzz
Not my type of anime, but the fact that I was able to finish it, is because Louise summon a human being which is really out of the league and quite funny. And I was not hoping for Harry potter resemblance (hate the movie)
I just started this anime (obviously), and I was pleasantly surprised! Many people told me not to get my hopes up ("Louise is an evil, obnoxious tsundere..." "Typical harem show..." "Harry Potter rip-off...").
I was very charmed. Poor Louise, being such a zero! I think the side characters are amusing (i.e. Guiche the playboy, Kirche the snobby oppai-queen... Hope I spelled those right). I even like the Harry Potter-ish world of spells and student mages.
That one girl looks and sounds just like Yuki Nagato. It's probably just a coincidence because both shows aired around the same time (no idea which manga came first).
"If you were to turn into a snake tomorrow and begin devouring humans, and from the same mouth you started devouring humans, you cried out to me 'I love you,' would I still be able to say 'I love you' the same way I do today?"
An alright first episode - it's pretty derivative but entertaining.
As others have mentioned, it is hard not to feel bad for Saito but I thought it was amusing that one of his guesses as to what had happened to him was that he had been abducted by a bunch of fantasy geeks. We all know what a dangerous bunch they can be.
Interesting and fun first episode, Louise's mishaps are funny and cute, talk about sealing the deal with that contract though. Admittedly I'm watching because of all the negative reception on her character, so far she's aight.
Well, it's time to watch a no-brainer anime! Since I watch Knight of Sidonia and Selector Infected each week, I need something... lighter.
Well, I feel bad for the young boy. Getting weirdly transported to another realm and being a slave of some weird noble. I think I'd try to flee too xD
Always a pleasure to see Rie Kugimiya voice a character :)
And of course, it's a tsundere, again :P
We'll see how this goes. I know it have mitiged critics, so I'll do my own I guess.
