Awww. So, Lag's bullet didn't restore Gauche memories, but just, eeerm, delievered him Lag's feelings, so he could act like he did back then, when he met Lag first time? Is there any way to restore Gauche memories, then? And is there a point in doing it? I mean, there's still kindness in him, his character doesn't seem to be so changed for me, even if he doesn't have memories from before he lost his heart. His purposes are different, though... He was so dedicated to become Head Bee to be able to do something about Sylvette legs before, and now even though he seems to care about Sylvette, Lag and others (and enjoys the time he spends with them), he wants to fullfill Reverse's purposes. Though I remember that Lawrence told him he'll tell him why Sylvette has paralyzed legs and stuff... Well, anyway, the gaichuu Cabernet crossed the river, so I guess we'll know more about Reverse's purposes and Gauche's role in them soon. I wonder if they'll manage to stop it before it gets to the capital? And I wonder what the (former) director plans to do? "Determination in eyes" made me really curious :P
By the way, Mock was epic. And Jiggy is so cool <3

great chap again all the bee where great in this fight and gauche still without his memorys was no suprise after the last chapter.

We had this doubt ever since Gauche woke up, so him not having his memories back was expected.
He probably asked to stay there just to make sure the Cabernet gets to the capital.
There's some fight coming. Noir + Cabernet VS Bees. A lot of bees will have to unite to take that thing down. Just one shot after that much trouble everyone had just to injure it would be a little lame. Like someone taking credit for other people's work. :P

And Mock was the hilarious. The best part of the chapter! XD

BTW, I'm so shocked, that I don't remember at all what the chapter was about. Gauche... I thought that it's great, that Gauche is Gauche again, but... probably it'll be too quick and too wonderful? It's so sad, I hope that they'll be Gauche again, and everything will be great. But probably it'll never happen, because Gauche doesn't have his heart at all...

The new episode of anime made me wonder - did Gauche really lost all of his heart? Was it shown in the manga, or was it just said in the letter from Akatsuki (I don't remember)? It's true that Lag saw only his recent memories, but wasn't it said that the people whose heart is devoured (I suppose it's the same as losing it) are not able to even move or something (like in case of Zazie parents)? Though they'd wonder about it earlier if it would be like that, probably. :'C by the way, I hope this thing from chapter 37 (...I think) about Lag heart's value going crazy and those memories which couldn't belong to him will be explained soon, because... it actually interest me the most. I guess it will all be explained soon, though :)
By the way, speaking of the latest episode. I wonder if Gerrard and Valentine are Lawrence's marauders in the manga too. Because I guess it wasn't implied in chapters, was it? I think I'd remember important fact like that ^^'

yeah, I've always been thinking about when the heart-measurer went crazy from Lag's memories. I have a few ideas on it, but not really clear enough that i can word them :/
And the latest episode surprised me too. I mean, I suspected something like that when they first appeared and the changes they made in the beehive, but it still surprised me a lot. I'm really looking foreward to the new developments of the manga, and the anime for that part too.

This chapter was exciting!
I didn't really expect him to still be Noir, but i did expect something big to happen.
I wonder what he'll do next. . . ?

Actually, as far as I remember, Gauche was the first person to survive the "light" (chapter 22, page 20). So I don't think he lost his heart to a Gaichuu.
Since he and Lag are "albisian" (although we don't know much about that) and Sylvette was born on the same day as Lag (the day of the flicker), I'm thinking that both Lag's heart value and the way Gauche lost his heart have something to do with the man-made sun.

Also, there's page 39 of chapter 29, when Lag resembles the sun. We should remember that Maka thought Lag wasn't human.

Maybe I'm just guessing too much, but I can't help it. :P

noooo, why noir? i mean, i expected a kind-of-noir, because it looked too easy, but not a full-power noir. so so so so not good. well, this means it'll last longer now. XD

oh, about what the other people above said. my mind goes crazy everytime i remember of the day of flicker and and how lag said "in our world" once or something like that when he went crazy there. wtf, the thing we need now is lag being a gaichuu-..thing! XD no, just kidding.

I thought it was too easy. I don't really mind that he's Noir, because to me, the way he's acting now, Noir and Gauche are the same person. Maybe he's only pretending to have those memories, but the way he acts and smiles is too good for simply acting, ie, I think there's still Gauche's personality there, even if he doesn't realize it himself. It's like Gauche, but still working with Reverse.

and tbh, with what's been revealed about the manmade sun and the Day of Flicker, I don't know if Reverse is all that bad. Or at least, their intent is all that bad. It's just the way they execute things, like sacrificing Sunny's village, is too extreme

As for what Lag is, I too want to find out. Maka said he's not human, he's got spirit amber embedded in his eye, and that creepy sun thing was saying "mother mother" over and over again.

I theorize that Lag's mother is "the goddess", and that he's born from the Manmade sun, whatever it is (Spirit insect?). And that he's what those ppl at Akatsuki want to create. Gauche's lost memories of his mother has something to do with this too, maybe his lost heart was stolen by the Manmade Sun and used to create Lag.

well Gauche now has two sets of memories. the ones when he was Gauche, and when he was noir. Its gotta be tough on him too to have two separate identities. it is not just memories, feelings too.

as for lag's identity, he was called light.....and there is only one "light". perhaps The personification of the light. The maka seem to be part of the system that govern this world along with the light. since spirit ambers are what gaichu's used to be, and they are the catalyst to create weapons to destroy them, it seems that the process of killing gaichus creates a cycle of light devouring hearts, creating spirit ambers, becoming gaichus, destroyed by hearts.
