| It seems like, this time around, it's not Junichi going on the offensive; rather, it's Sae that's trying to get together with him. Quite a stark difference in comparison to Junichi in previous arcs. Not that I mind though; seeing a shy girl like Sae muster up the courage to ask Junichi to there was surprisingly one fanservice scene in this episode, but overall the episode was nice in showing Sae's attempts at getting closer to Junichi. 4.4/5 Screenshots!! :) Next Episode Preview: Lover - コイビト (Koibito) More screenshots, and my impressions of this episode here: https://blogs.emory.edu/animec/2010/09/09/amagami-ss-11/ Feel free to drop by if ya want. | Sweet episode. Going to a amusement park together sounds like fun. When they where waiting on the bus i was somehow thinking that the bus would never show up, as in that they missed the last bus. But that didn't seem the case. Sae finally working in a restaurant, it seemed like she was enjoying it, and Kaoru doing thinking about working there looking funny. And Morishima giving advice about the little sister thing... |
| No your right; it is nice to see the shy girl go on the offensive, but after seeing Junichi being assertive in other arcs it is a little distressing when he can't realize he is in love. It is sort of like they added the worst Junichi personality of all the arcs and my favorite girl so far. Otherwise a good episode for the most part. I *half* rolled my eyes when he said lets train for the best couple's contest. For a minute there i thought he didn't understand. |

| It's interesting how much Sae's voice has grown on me; it has reached the point where I don't notice it as being any odder than anyone else's. Cute episode. Nothing gets to me more than the innocent awkwardness of first dates. Also, Morishima Logic FTW. |

| eh I don't mind the shy girl but they just don't seem to go together as good as the last 2 girls. who would do all this training? morishima was amusing, I do like that the other girls still make cameos. at least they finally get together next episode and hopefully douchey narrator is gone soon. looking forward to the diet girl. |

| Well let's see..... Sae's voice still makes me want to throw my laptop out the window, and Junichi's decision to ride on a fucking merry-go-round reaffirms my belief that he is a big pussy, a poor man's Tomoya. However, I'm finally sensing some chemistry between the two. In fact, to me, it feels as if the mood between these two is more natural and acceptable than the other two so far. With Haruka, Junichi was just a wimpy dog sniffing around a goddess, and the entirety of the Kaoru arc was full of awkward, forced romance. Junichi and Sae are good for each other in the sense that both are weak characters, so neither dominates the other. Sorta like Kimi ni Todoke. Basically, the awkwardness of these two makes more sense, given their personalities. I've also started to warm up to the narrator. He isn't anywhere near Wakamoto in Hayate no Gotoku, but he's not that bad. Once again though, each episode seems to have a hodgepodge of moments without any clear transitions. Certain moments- knocking down the glass, riding the merry-go-round, tentacle raep, and the final holding-hands scene stick out in my mind, but there's no real glue that holds an episode together. That's probably what I'm missing most from this show. That and a main character with a spine. |

| Sae looks really good in a maid uniform. She resembles Mikuru a bit. "First experience"...didn't sound too good. Lots of things come to mind XD. Those tentacles...How did it lift Sae like that? The shy/reserved girl takes the initiative now. It's kinda nice but as usual, Junichi is clueless until the last parts of the episode. And now they enter the Best Couple contest. Junichi's too full of himself to think they can win it, which I think they won't. Maybe 3rd or 2nd? Preview is super misleading. She looks good again in that goth lolita dress there. Overall, fairly nice episode. Fetish episode/kiss where? |
