No, no and NO. The last thing Sailor Moon needs is a stupid unnecessary remake to destroy all it stands for. |

Yes. If they stuck to the manga, less fillers and more consistant animation. Then we would have two amazing SM series. Kinda like what they've done with FMA. |

I wouldn't mind, but I honestly don't care. The series, unlike DBZ, didn't need a remake, since it didn't drag on fights for over 10 episodes. |

^ Sailor Moon needs it more, what with all the filler. They strayed so far from the manga plot just recutting the scenes like in DBK wouldn't help though, they'd need to reanimate it. Modified by Gurenn, 12-03-11, 1:26 AM |

And to think, 2-1/2 years ago I asked this same question. We find out that they are redoing the series much closer to the manga. I should do more predicting. LOL |

I think the animation would be better and the voices would be aligned better too but Sailor Moon was great in its originality. I'm Switzerland here just waiting to see the outcome. |

I'm kind of on the fence about this one. I grew up watching the dubbed Sailor Moon, and while I agree there is a lot of room for improvement, I think the cheesy dub and sequences add to its charm ^_^ Maybe it wouldn't be bad for a new generation who didn't grow up with the original. If it were re-dubbed and remastered so that it can be seen on regular TV again, that would be awesome. And if they dubbed the scenes that were originally censored and included new footage that was originally from the manga, then that would be even better. I think it would be a great edition for Sailor Moon fans, but not a necessity. I agree that there should be more original anime coming out, not a spin-off of Sailor Moon. I'm also wondering if they're going to consider making the Sailor V manga into an anime. Will be interesting to see... |
