| Matilda's funeral was way classier than Ryu's -- at least everybody saluted her, and only Sayla, having a solid reason to, actually cried. As always good to see this show having the balls to kill its characters off quite steadily. For a second I thought even Bright would succumb to that fever. |

| Our allies are falling, so soon after Ryu too. Not that she was a permanent member of the crew, but she made a lasting impression on them. War has taken away Amuro's first love, and it makes me worried for who will drop in the upcoming episodes. Death makes the happier moments of an episode stand out far more. The photograph was cute and seeing Amuro continue to mentor Sayla was as well. I love how we get to see Amuro and Sayla get along. It feels really organic. Not to mention that combat, fighting against Hillbillies in a forest (dub), especially those three-on-one slow-mo cuts, yeah it was rad. Super rad. But like with Ryu, perhaps as a way to differentiate the coolness from the anti-war message, we immediately snap out of super cool combat into the loss of life. It will still sell toys, but it will also make us reflect on the ramifications of violence! Or, something. |

| This was amazing. What the absolute fuck is wrong with these previews???? They fucking spoil the big thing for next episode in a second, I'm never letting a single one of these shitty previews ruin an episode for me, it's been more than once, what the hell were they thinking???? |

| It was fun to watch Matilda interact with the boys on White Base. I liked how she was kind of playful with them but not accepting weird advances either. It was sad to see her go. It also felt like her passing was sort of sped up a bit. The episode didn't really give enough screentime to her fate with it happening in the blink of an eye. |

| There were some interesting moments with Mirai here. The way she looked at Matilda and got scared out of nowhere seemed like a kind of premonition...? The preview in this episode also spoiled something pretty big for next episode, so that’s cool. I wish the ending song played first so I had time to turn on my controller and skip to the next episode... |

| Well, this didn't hit me at all since it was already spoiled the episode before. Matilda was likable but like most of the characters that die in this show they don't really get enough spotlight to make the viewer care too much about it. They are just wasting characters in my opinion. The Tristar guys had some good dodging skills but the battle didn't feel all that engaging to me. Guess the repetitive nature of the show starts to grate on me. It's just battle after battle at the moment. Hoping for a larger scale battle with M'quve soon. |

| so far the only things i'm not liking about this anime are the death scenes, for someone like me that cries very easily, i'm not much saddened by this show, at least for now |
