According to Bandai Collector's Section official twitter, Macross Frontier ~Sayonara no Tsubasa~ was announced to be premiered on February 26th, 2011.

It wasn't released on BD/DVD yet. The 50gb+ file is the series in 1080p, not the movie.

More Macross ftw. But the sooner they get started on another new series is my real hop for joy. Still, new content is new and I'm looking forward to it.

I was overjoyed when they announced the second movie at the end of the first one. More Sheryl and more songs plus mecha fighting are always welcome.
